I and my wife visited Central Village Bangkok Luxury outlet today from morning until evening and generally had a great time and purchased so many items at great prices. However, there were some shops who failed to meet our expectations in terms of good customer service and I hope to inform their store managers so they can improve in the future. 1. Lacoste - lady staff was quite rude when I asked if they have a Lacoste shirt with pocket which I bought from a shop in Japan. She said No in a not so nice way without smiling. Then I tried some pants and I asked again the same lady staff if they have bigger size and again said No in a not so nice way again. The staff should speak in a polite way and should smile to show good customer service. Because of this, I returned everything I tried and did not but from this store. I definitely recommend to have this lady staff undergo training. 2. Le Coq Sportif - the male staff did not offer tax refund even if I showed my foreign passport. The other stores I went to and purchased products from (Swarovski, Tumi, and a watch store where I bought a Longines watch) automatically prepared the tax refund forms and even populated all the information needed based on my passport like name, nationality, passport number, etc. I just signed on them. But this staff asked me to populate the information even if I said that the stores did it for me. I also needed to ask him to open the door since I was pushing the wheelchair where my PWD wife is seating. The other staff from the other stores were very attentive and pro actively opened the doors for us. I suggest you ask the store manager to retrain this staff. On the other hand, I wish to commend the staff of these stores for their great customer service: 1. Swarovski - smiling and opened the door for us. 2. Tumi - all my questions were answered and even gave us bottled water. 3. Guy Laroche - very attentive and always smiling. 4. Boss - always smiling and very attentive. Bought a pair of shoes and socks. Food were also great at the food hall and tasted Thai food. We loved the desserts and coffee. The night was very festive due to wine tasting and “snow” at the Christmas trees. The toilets were strategically located and very clean. Finally, bus transport from Central World to the premium outlet store and going back to Central World was seamless. We would like to thank the driver who was very careful in his driving and also smiling and friendly. Tourist information office also helped us facilitate our free tote bags and were very friendly. Unfortunately, they run out of free items for those who bought more than 20K baht (bag with elephant design). We hope this can help further improve their services, especially to foreign tourists like us. Thank you.
We wanted to spend the day shopping, so we decided to visit Central Outlet Village, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The whole place is beautifully laid out and has a relaxed, open-air atmosphere that genuinely feels like an outlet village in the US. It’s clean, easy to navigate, and never felt overcrowded, making it a pleasure to spend several hours wandering around. What really impressed us was the variety of brands. From Polo Ralph Lauren and Aldo to plenty of other well-known retailers, there were genuine bargains to be found, not just token discounts. If you enjoy hunting for deals, you’ll definitely find some excellent buys. The only area that needs serious improvement is the Food Village payment system. Requiring visitors to preload a payment card, then walk back to a central counter every time the balance runs out, is an unnecessarily cumbersome process. It slows everything down and takes away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. In fact, a couple of the food stall attendants were so frustrated with the system themselves that they simply accepted my credit card directly. Apart from that, the outlet is well worth a visit. It’s an easy place to spend a full day shopping, eating, and strolling around. Fix the Food Village payment process, and the experience would be close to perfect.
Central Village is a well-located discount mall just minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport, making it perfect for travelers looking to squeeze in some final shopping or dining before departure. What’s Good: 🛍 Diverse Brand Outlets – Features international and Thai brands at discounted prices. Not everything is a steal, but good deals can be found with some browsing. 🍜 Solid Food Options – A mix of casual eateries, cafes, and quick bites (including MK Restaurant and Amazon Coffee). Great for a meal before flying. ✈️ Airport Proximity – Only 10-15 minutes by taxi, with luggage storage available. Ideal for layovers or pre-flight visits. 🏙 Clean & Organized – Modern layout with indoor/outdoor seating areas. Less crowded than downtown malls. What Could Improve: ⚠️ Not All Deals Are Equal – Some "discounts" are marginal (compare prices). Focus on seasonal sales for the best bargains. 🚕 Transport Note – Free shuttles exist but taxis are more reliable (ensure meter use). Verdict: A practical, stress-free shopping complement to your Bangkok trip—especially if you’ve missed other markets or want air-conditioned browsing. Manage expectations: it’s an outlet mall (not a luxury destination), but the convenience and variety justify a visit. Best For: Last-minute souvenirs, sportswear, or killing time before a flight.
