What Google reviewers say about Da Massage
I received the 90-minute foot massage with herbal massage option as a walk-in, so I didn't have to wait. In conclusion, it was the best massage I received during my trip. I am very sad that it was my last one before returning home. The massage was performed with an intensity similar to a foam roller, in a very quiet and clean environment. I initially thought the program only involved herbal balms, but it actually included a herbal ball massage as well. After finishing the herbal balm massage, they placed a steamer right next to the massage table and replaced the balls with freshly steamed ones. Since I had received a herbal ball massage the day before, I had a point of comparison; they didn't just press the balls down, but rolled them warmly around my joints to provide a compress. Although there was no welcome tea, I was touched once again when I saw a whole teapot prepared in the garden near the entrance after the massage. I would definitely visit again if I come back to Chiang Mai.
Let me start by saying I have lived in Thailand for a year and have had many random afternoon foot massages…. Popped in for a neck/shoulder/foot (no head today) this was honestly one of the best I’ve had in country! There were a total of four in my group and everyone had an excellent experience. Highly recommend 10⭐️
I received a Deep Massage from Teacher Deng (the chubby lady), not just a regular Thai massage. I’ve had manual therapy and massages in Korea before, but even compared to those, I could really feel the aura of a master. It was incredibly painful, but how should I put it? It felt like she was rolling out my muscles with a rolling pin—very delicate yet powerful. Her fingers and strength were incredible, and compared to other shops that advertised their services as being similar to manual therapy, she included a much wider variety of stretches, which was very refreshing. However, there were some movements that could strain people with back pain, such as stretching with your legs fully extended and bending forward, so I recommend mentioning any painful areas beforehand. She was so cute when she playfully pretended to wipe my tears with a towel because I looked like I was about to cry from the pain... I want to get another massage, so I even asked for her name!! I highly recommend her.
