What Google reviewers say about HARNN Heritage Spa Riverside
Because I was staying at The Salil Hotel, I planned to have a top-notch spa treatment at Harnn. The Chao Phraya River Fantasy Tour [150 minutes] cost a little over RM6,000 on Klook, while the official website price was RM7,200++ (it seems hotels offer a 15% or 10% discount, so Klook might be a bit cheaper). The first part of the tour was a bubble bath with essential oils in the jacuzzi. The aroma and the spa effects of the jacuzzi were both excellent. Because we arrived early, the soaking time seemed to be a little longer, and I almost fell asleep in the tub. Next was an exfoliating massage with jasmine-scented rice bran oil extract. A bit strangely, the masseuse skipped the front of my right hand at the end, telling me to get up and rinse it off (because Harnn believes in Yin and Yang and the Five Elements, I was wondering if there was some special significance to the right hand, since the back of my right hand was skipped during the subsequent massage). Anyway, the combination of the essential oil massage and the Himalayan rock salt herbal ball massage was incredibly comfortable. I kept going through a cycle of almost falling asleep/seemingly snoring/being woken up by the hot rock salt herbal ball. This rock salt herbal ball is special; it's dry and heated by rocks, so it feels warmer than traditional herbal balls. The effect is probably due to the added far-infrared rays from the Himalayan rock salt! The final dessert was a pot of tea and traditional Thai snacks (the kind that smell like candles, which are plentiful in Chiang Mai). If you buy related products on the spot, you get a 20% discount if you buy two items (which is more than Thann's discount, probably because I know the original prices are already high!). When she wrote her review on a tablet, I wrote that everything was great, but it was significantly more expensive than comparable treatments. Besides Thann, which I've been to in the past few years, I've also been to Divana Spa, Anantara Chiang Mai Resort Spa, etc., and the prices weren't this outrageous. Usually, anything over six or seven thousand is only reasonable if it's a half-day treatment.
Charming little spa whose promise of bliss comes true at every turn. A lovely fragrance wafts through the glass door as you walk in. A charming hostess whispers a gentle hello and gracefully walks you through your many service choices. We were lucky to snag the next available appointment - a 90-minute lymphatic massage with aromatherapy for myself, while my friend opted for the eurasian allure. The lighting is soothing, the treatment rooms are beautifully appointed and spacious and the therapists kind and skilled. The session started with a warm foot bath followed by 90 minutes of heaven. I reached the blissful state of semi-consciousness in about 8 minutes and simply can't wait to go back. The ginger tea and lotus cookie after the session were simply icing on the cake. You can't go wrong at Harnn!
Wonderful hydrotherapy experience by the Rabbit Moon! The set up is neat and tidy, environment is beautifully created which gives us a super relaxing vibe. Toilet and changing room are so hygienic and clean. The 2 instructors (Big M & F) are so nice and explained each steps in details. They even initiate to take pictures for us! The hydrotherapy pool is divided into 9 areas which doesn’t miss any single body part! Starting from the sole and foot, all the way up to the neck and shoulder! The flow of the therapy is wonderfully designed such that we can slowly enjoy and feel the power of water effecting on our body. Overall it’s a very refreshing experience which activates all my cells and charged all my energy for the day!!
