“I did the one day Basic Diver course with my partner and had the most amazing day! We booked with Big Blue on recommendation and totally see why! As first time divers we were a little nervous… However our instructor Eddie put us completely at ease. He was excellent, incredibly knowledgable and made us feel very safe. We completed two afternoon dives down to 12m depth with his guidance and encouragement. A fantastic experience, seamlessly organised with quality instructors. We will be recommending big blue to others!”

“Amazing time and very fun. I had Axel Karlsson as an instructor and he was the best and very understanding. The coral Grand diver is really good place to take a diver licens or any other PADI course.”

“Roctopus felt like home in Koh Tao very quickly. I only planned a couple of fun dives and ended up staying the whole week, getting my Explorer 30 certification and doing a total of 11 dives with the team! All the divemasters and instructors were super fun and super professional. Huge shout-out to Patrick, Louis, Cece for the dives and Arthur who my instructor for the Explorer 30 for making my time here so memorable. Special thanks to Coral, the marine conservationist, for patiently explaining so much about marine biology and the conservation work happening here. I’ll definitely be back!”

“The last 3 days on the island was somewhat the best time of my life. Special thanks to John and Zoe for their dedication, support and positive-energy throughout the 6 dives. This was not only fun dives, but also a vast value from their advice, just to keep myself get better on every day. - Even those at very last minute, i accidentally dropped off my camera from the boat. But, thanks god, those wonderful people saved my entire trip without hesitation by descending and picked it up when gas tank was at very low level. Hope the best for you guys!!!”

“First diving experience. Super professional. Initially, I only wanted to do one dive, but once there, Richy instilled confidence in us, and we enjoyed two incredible dives. The first thing they teach is safety.”

“A fantastic first experience diving with Nitro. Angel, our instructor, was very attentive to us at all times, teaching us both the theoretical and technical aspects of diving, as well as identifying the different fish while we were underwater. I would do it again in a heartbeat! 👌🏼”

“Unforgettable days on Koh Tao! The five of us completed our Open Water Diver course with Jason and couldn't be happier with our decision. Jason is absolutely top-notch: He taught us the material brilliantly and gave us the confidence we needed to dive independently. The absolute highlight of our dives in the beautiful bays around the island was definitely the last dive through a huge coral reef – simply magical! Koh Tao is a fantastic diving destination, and this experience has definitely whetted my appetite for more. I'll definitely be doing the Advanced Diver course – preferably here in Thailand again. A huge thank you to Jason for the excellent preparation!”

“I recently purchased the Hollis M1 mask from the Aquamaster store in Bangkok, and the overall experience could not have been better. From the very beginning, communication was smooth and constant; the staff kept in touch with me every step of the way to answer all my questions. Once at the shop, the service was phenomenal—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. On top of that, they offered me a 15% discount for being a diving instructor, a great gesture that shows their support for industry professionals. The Hollis M1 mask itself offers incredible visibility and fit, but the standout part of this purchase was definitely the team's exceptional customer service. I highly recommend Aquamaster if you're in Bangkok!”

“Off to Koh Tao to get the diving certification I've had on my wish list for years! Arrived at Dive One!!! The first lesson was a theory class. Even though it was theory, it was so much fun. The instructor explained everything so well that I could understand it perfectly, and by making me think for myself, it left a lasting impression!! After the class, we went out for pool training in the afternoon. The instructor taught us everything in detail, starting with setting up the equipment. Since I'm afraid of water, the instructor encouraged me and told me not to worry. He took care of me in every little detail, making the pool training so enjoyable as well!! By the time it was over, quite a bit of time had passed, but it was so much fun that I didn't even realize how fast time was flying!!!! And the next day, finally, the ocean~~!!! I was a little nervous, but just having him by my side reassured me. That allowed me to enjoy the training even more and encounter many fish!!!! Diving is such a cool hobby, but it can be dangerous~~ Thanks to the instructor, I received safe training and had a great time!!! I wanted to get the Advanced certification as well, but I couldn't because of time constraints, so I could only get up to Open Water. However, if I get the chance to learn again, I would love to take classes from Instructor Shin at Dive One in Koh Tao~~!!! Koh Tao is the best, Dive One is the best, Instructor Shin is the absolute best👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻”

“I wanted to get the battery in my Suunto D6 dive computer replaced between Saturday and Sunday so I could go diving in Koh Tao. Note, the owner of the dive shop, was incredibly kind and changed the battery very professionally and quickly – over the weekend, including a pressure test. He even offered to ship the dive watch to my hotel afterward via Grab, which took 30 minutes. Unfortunately, my bank wasn't compatible with his Thai bank for money transfers, so I ended up taking a taxi to the shop after all. But Note tried a lot of things to make the payment possible. The dive equipment shop is a bit hidden; it's located in the hotel and not the easiest to find.”

“This is a true freediving school. It doesn't feel like learning, it feels more like having fun with friends, haha. I want to see my friends often, but I also gain knowledge and good techniques without stress or pressure. Each instructor is full of energy and knowledge. If you have a problem or can't do something, the instructor will help you solve it individually. >>>>>> Even if you can't float vertically in the water, you can still learn to dive! The instructors show you how to do it, let you do it, and make you confident that "you won't actually sink." But actually, the reason we're learning to dive is because we want to sink, haha. If you like a stress-free, fun, and lots of things to do, I recommend it!^^”

“We booked a night bus ticket (VIP) with them from Bangkok to Krabi for 700 baht per person on December 10 2019. They said they will pick us up right from there. We came on time and they walked us to the bus (which was quite far and we had to go through crowded Khaosan road with our luggage). When we came to the bus stop the guide person just left without telling us anything, so we didn’t know which bus and what time it comes. Finally, when the bus came the seat cushions inside it were completely ripped. I don’t even know how many years it was used before, because even the sponge pads of the seats were worn off. There were no WiFi as they promised. Around 6am they kicked us off the bus in some tour agent place in Surat Thani without any explanations. When we bought our tickets ewe were told that it’s a bus straight to Krabi. We were shocked and I left a bag with my pants on the top shelf by accident (we were sleeping and not prepared to leave the bus). Afterwards, they were blackmailing me that the bus will leave to Bangkok soon and if I want to get the bag back I have to pay 200 baht. I paid 100 baht only for getting me to the bus (and it was not going to Bangkok any time soon) and picking up the bag. They didn’t want to tell me where the bus is, it was like 2 km away only, and our waiting time was 1.5 hours, I could easily walk and get my bag for free (I was afraid they would not let us in the next bus if I refuse to pay at all, so I just paid 100 baht). In 1.5 hours after arrival we got into a minivan that was supposed to get us to Krabi. It was completely full and we had some luggage in our laps and some of it was in between the rows. In both bus and minivan they didn’t speak English almost at all. Finally, after around 16 hours we reached Krabi, they dropped us not at the main bus station, but at their own. It was the worst bus trip in Thailand that I ever had. I would recommend the travelers to go by night train to Surat Thani (2nd class with a fan is good for night trips, cost around 500 baht) and then take a governmental bus (150 baht) or governmental minivan (170 baht) to Krabi. When you arrive to Krabi you can take a songthaew to Ao Nang or Krabi city (60 baht to Ao Nang). Otherwise, buy your tickets straight from the bus company, it raises your chances to get a good service (we used Travel Mart (Bangkok - Siem Reap) and Phantip (Ao Nang - Ko Phangan), I booked tickets online from their official pages and these trips were great).”
