WOW, what an incredible massage! I was planning to get a 2 hr Thai oil massage but after explaining my back pain and shoulder injuries, they recommended a 2 hr sports massage for being more intense for deep tissue and healing. At times it was almost too strong but I would breath in and out with the rhythm of the massage to help deal with those extra sore and painful spots. Although I was mainly sore in my mid back, shoulders, and neck, some of the craziest spots were in my thighs, calves, and feet. This is not a massage that will put you to sleep! I slept great that night and felt so much better the next day. I also noticed better range of movement in my shoulders after just 1 massage. I got a foot massage yesterday after a ton of sightseeing and felt completely refreshed the next day. I plan to get more treatments during my visit, including 1 or 2 more sports massages but wow- it is INTENSE and not to be taken lightly. If you want to relax tell them but if you want a deep and healing and restorative experience, get the sports massage. It is more expensive but I got more out of one 2 hr sports massage than 2 or 3 other "regular" massages. Pim was absolutely amazing for the sports massages and she was incredible at finding the source of my pain. She is incredible and I recommend asking for her specifically if you want the sports massage. *Over my 2 week stay, I got the 2 hour sports massage 3 times and 2 foot massages after long days of walking. My shoulder injury pain is almost completely gone in my right shoulder and so much better in my left shoulder (worse injury originally). I plan to return next year and I look forward to getting more massages with Pim. Thank you so much! + I got a Thai oil massage at MBK which was also great BUT after the massage I had to walk back through the giant shopping mall and get a taxi back to my hotel which is not so relaxing. Buddha Massage however is next to my hotel, so after massages, I have a 1-2 minute walk back to relax in my bed. This helps the massage kind of soak in and my mind can still be at rest. Also, Buddha Massage was a little cheaper than the massage I got at MBK.
I’ve had several treatments at Buddha Massage - foot massage, neck & shoulder massage, and a classical Thai massage - and every single one was outstanding. My stiffness and tension literally dissolved under Wan’s hands. She has been doing all of my massages, and her experience truly shows. She works with such precision, strength, and intuition - finding exactly the right spots and releasing deep-seated tension. After each session, I felt lighter, more aligned, and completely relaxed. It’s honestly one of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had. The studio itself feels like a small oasis - a peaceful escape from the humming Bangkok skyline. Calm, clean, and beautifully serene. A heartfelt thank you to Wan for her amazing work.
I came mainly for back and leg massage. The front desk recommended a foot reflexology + neck & shoulder two treatments at the same time (4-hands). I found out that everything was done on a massage chair, not a bed. The neck&shoulder therapist had good technique, but the chair setup made it hard to apply proper pressure, around 40 minutes she focused on head. The leg work wasn’t very targeted for deep tension. Overall, this place is fine for basic relaxation, but not ideal for deeper muscle release. The recommended treatments didn’t suit my needs.
