Best time to visit. Low humidity, clear skies. Book popular spots early — peak tourist season.
The shop is clean and the atmosphere is nice. Today I had a foot massage. The massage bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was cool. The massage therapist was excellent, attentive, and dedicated. The massage was very relaxing and hit the right spots. They provided water and snacks after the massage, which was refreshing. However, the booking process was problematic, and I would like the owner to improve it. I called to book and clearly stated that I wanted a female masseuse. Upon arrival, they initially asked if a male masseuse was acceptable. I reiterated that it wasn't, and the staff acknowledged this and asked me to transfer the payment. After that, another staff member asked twice more if a male masseuse was okay. I understand the counter staff's situation because they weren't the ones answering the phone bookings. While waiting, a staff member told me to call the person who made the booking upstairs. Personally, I felt that since I was already there and had a booking, the shop should have handled it themselves, not told me to call. (However, another customer who came in at the same time as me left before me because they understood that I had booked in advance after speaking with the staff, so they didn't need to contact anyone.) But I would like to see a more coordinated system in place. It shouldn't be a case of customers waiting outside the shop and being repeatedly asked if a male masseuse is available. Thank you very much.
I chose the aromatherapy oil massage program, priced at 1,250 baht for 1.5 hours. Personally, I felt it wasn't cheap, but not excessively expensive either. *First, there was no foot washing before entering the massage room. *Second, once in the massage room, they proceeded with a normal foot and full-body massage. *Third, the masseuse massaged my head and face without washing her feet beforehand, as she had already done so. The masseuse also didn't wash her hands before touching my face or head. *Finally, normally at massage parlors in this price range, they ask if the client wants a head massage, as some people don't like it. Here, they took the liberty of putting oil on my face and head, and massaged my face with a rubbing motion, which was extremely uncomfortable and will definitely cause acne. I admit I had high expectations initially because it seemed like a professional massage parlor. After the massage, my husband and I exchanged glances, thinking how strange it was and that it wasn't worth the price at all. I will never go back. It was the worst massage I've ever had in my life, and it wasn't comfortable at all.
The service was terrible. I agreed to a massage course, chose a scented oil, and was taken to a room to change. When it was time for the massage, the staff said that if I wanted to use that room, I had to change my course, otherwise I had to go downstairs for the massage. The massage therapist seemed untrained; when I asked for stronger pressure, she just kept stroking up and down the same way, repeating the same techniques on each area for two hours without making me feel any better. Furthermore, during the massage, another staff member knocked on the door and came in, asking, "How much longer?" What kind of question is that? Opening the door without permission and asking that while a customer is present is unacceptable. I'm writing this review to urge immediate improvement. This was my first time using their service, but this experience will be my only visit.
