Please take this review serious and trust me.. thank me later. Additional information: this cruise with Indian buffet leaves from terminal 21 mall.. If you have then same experience please react on the review. I am in such disappointment that I am writing this review while taking tour of cruise with Indian buffet. Food was such a very big disappointment.. No Indian dishes were served on board. Check the photo this was available for vegetarian, as non vegetarian non veg was served sea food and one two chicken dishes.. nothing was Indian. Total waste of money, music on the cruise is pathetic sound quality in Indian weddings would be better. I cancelled my initial BOOKING because of international buffet and re booked this.. I can not tell you how I am feeling after paying 7000 INR for two people for this experience. Update on this: Now I got to know the actual cause of frustration, they even gave me uppar deck to sit where they were serving international buffet, in the lower deck they mentioned that international buffet is served on upper deck but same was not mentioned on the upper deck that for Indian dinner option one can go to lower deck. It seems management issue to me either you would have not given me upper deck as per my meal preference or should have informed that I need to go to lower deck for dinner. Princess cruise please contact me and return my money please..
We booked the Chao Phraya Princess Cruise for a dinner experience, and it turned out to be a wonderful evening! 🥰 The cruise runs from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, giving you two full hours of dining and sightseeing along the beautiful Chao Phraya River. 🌆 The buffet had plenty of food options — a mix of authentic Thai and international dishes 🍤🍜. We booked it at the Terminal 21 Rama 3 pier, and the boarding process was smooth. 💡 Small tip: When the buffet opens, everyone rushes to the line, and it gets crowded. Instead, take your time — capture some photos 📸, enjoy the river view for a bit, and then grab your food once the queue gets shorter. You’ll have a more relaxed experience. The only downside was that the cruise felt more like an Indian-themed dinner — with mostly Indian music 🎶 and many Indian guests. The sound quality wasn’t great, and honestly, the food wasn’t as impressive as some other restaurants in Bangkok. But still, it was a nice change of vibe and a lovely way to spend the evening! 🌃 We got our tickets for 950 Baht per person through Siam Ceylon International (found them on Facebook), and the price was very reasonable 💸. Overall, it’s a good experience for couples, families, or friends who want to enjoy dinner with a scenic river view and some live music — definitely worth trying once while you’re in Bangkok! 💖🇹🇭
Experience Overview: • A fast-paced, commercial-style dinner cruise designed to appeal to tourists. • The cruise focuses more on creating a lively atmosphere than on delivering a premium dining experience. ⸻ 🍽️ Food: • So-so and forgettable—nothing particularly special or memorable. • Buffet-style with a wide range of dishes, but quality leans toward quantity. • Good enough to fill you up, but not the main reason to take the cruise. ⸻ Entertainment: • The real highlight of the night. • Live band and entertainers were energetic, interactive, and clearly experienced. • They encouraged guests to dance, sing along, and really get into the party vibe—and most people did! • Big plus: the entertainers knew many hit Indonesian songs, including dangdut, which really connected with Indonesian guests and got the crowd moving. Final Verdict : ⭐⭐☆☆☆ Just average—don’t expect a gourmet meal. Entertainment ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun, engaging, and culturally inclusive—the reason to go. Value ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Worth it if you’re going for the lively atmosphere, not the cuisine. Go for the fun, music, and lively energy, not the food. The entertainers steal the show—especially if you’re Indonesian, you’ll feel right at home with the song choices and crowd-friendly vibe. Just don’t expect a culinary highlight.
