I had a massage and body scrub here and both were absolutely top notch. The massage therapist was highly skilled and really knew how to work out all the tension, using a perfect combination of pressure and technique that left me feeling completely renewed. It was one of those sessions where you can tell the therapist has real experience and genuinely takes pride in their work. The body scrub was equally impressive. My skin felt incredibly smooth and fresh afterwards, and the products they used were of high quality without any harsh or irritating feeling. The combination of massage and body scrub together made for a truly complete spa experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to treat themselves. The place itself was clean and had a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was comfortable before and during the treatment. There was no rushing through the services, everything felt like it was given the proper time and attention it deserved. If you are in Bangkok and want a really excellent massage paired with a rejuvenating body scrub, Rakuten should be at the top of your list. The quality of service here is outstanding and I would not hesitate to come back again. One of the best spa experiences I have had in the city.
I went with my husband b/c the place looked clean, which is important especially at this time. Prices are quite good considering an indoor store with AC and washroom. My 1 hour door massage and Thai was fantastic! Lady was experienced and professional. Unfortunately my husband who paid for also a 1hr foot and 1hr Thai, for a terrible masseuse. She was a younger girl, who had a miserable face as if she didn’t want to be there. She started his foot late then got up 2x to do “who knows what” then during the Thai massage she got up again and ended it early to get our teas Later found out she didn’t give him a half the massages that I received!! Just lightly massaging the arm and wasting time. She is lazy and unprofessional!! We wanted to book this place again but having 2nd thoughts now!
Massage therapist had 0 training. I went to some massage schools; I know what a good massage in Thailand should be like. The therapist poked her elbows in my shoulder blades for 30 minutes straight. No routine, no plan, no variation, and it's rather painful. I paid for 1.5h, but I just left. Apart from the shoulder blades, she hadn't even touched another part of my body. Worst is that they pretend to be a high-end place with corresponding prices. I should have looked at the reviews. This is actually a "happy" place, which explains why the therapists don't know how to give a massage. They just want to get their tip for special services
