Best time to visit. Low humidity, clear skies. Book popular spots early — peak tourist season.
This is an excellent sauna. The location is a bit tricky to find, but if you follow the narrow road, New Saton Sauna will appear. There's construction going on and various buildings on the premises, but just head straight ahead (the buildings on the grounds are probably related to New Saton Sauna). Payment is after use. (300B) The staff will guide you to a locker, where you'll receive a rental towel and rental shorts. After that, you're free to enjoy. Water and tea are free. You can apparently eat there too, but I ordered delivery via Grab. I also requested dishes and cutlery with the delivery, but they were just dumped into a plastic bag lol.😂 When I was struggling, a sauna staff member lent me dishes and a spoon (truly grateful). I got a foot massage for 300B. The massage room had locals chatting and napping, but I felt right at home and comfortable 😊 ⭐️The facilities are wonderful, but above all, the staff's hospitality is incredible. I don't understand Thai, but they try their best to assist me. I'll definitely go again.
A very nice place to relax and make contact with local gays or some asian tourists. The staff is unbelievable friendly and helpful, showing a new guest the location and explaining very well, where everything is. The Finnish Sauna is big, outside a big cold water (really cold) and a smaller warm water pool. Fresh water, ice, tea and some fruits are offered for free and you have always access to fresh towels, pants and shoes. Outside you can get some food and more drinks for a fair price. Also a fitness centre and massage are available. Very friendly and open atmosphere make me feel comfortable from the first moment. Good for people with handicap, cuz no stairs. The entrance is 300 thb Drinks and snacks for a very fair price available.
If you are trying to decide whether to visit here or tbe Salom Sauna choose the Salom. We visited both a few days apart and Sathon was not in the same class. There was no table service, no steam room, and only one lady that could give a massage. And the noise levels were ridiculous. Because of the loud tv in one room and the music blaring in the other, everyone had to talk loudly. Not a relaxing experience at all. The lychee drink was good. And the hot tub was hot.
