I ordered two dishes of rice and curry for 45 baht: Panang curry with rice and braised egg. The braised egg was just an egg, with no tofu or pieces of meat. Is the price high? Yes, I think so. I expected more deliciousness, quality, and quantity. Not necessarily a huge portion, but it seemed very small. Even street food stalls give bigger portions. But I was expecting this to be a "golden place." The other day I ordered jackfruit curry with pork ribs. There was hardly any jackfruit, just the hard, undercooked core. The pork ribs were also undercooked. I felt like I wasted my money. I bought two boxes. Today, I ordered rice and curry, and seeing the food on the plate, I was very disappointed. Everything else that isn't from a typical rice and curry shop is great. I'm truly disappointed.

Golden Place, a newly opened cafe (almost a year ago), is located in front of Klong Prem Central Prison on Ngamwongwan Road, between Vibhavadi Rangsit Road and Phongphet Intersection. It shares the same entrance as Chuan Chom restaurant and a massage parlor run by female inmates. There's no barrier at the entrance, and parking is convenient in front of the shop. The cafe has spacious seating for enjoying coffee, pastries, and items purchased inside. It's not crowded, making it suitable for meetings, food, or business discussions.
