I had an incredible experience at Ikigai Massage that completely changed my perception of what a massage can be. First, the ambience is beautifully done. The space has a clean Japandi aesthetic, yet still feels warm and thoughtfully decorated. You can tell they pay attention to detail — not just visually, but also in the quality of the items used in the massage rooms, from the bed linens to the towels and robes. The heated bed had excellent cushioning. I often find face-down headrests uncomfortable, especially when deeper pressure is applied, as they can put strain on my throat and chest, but I didn’t experience any discomfort here at all. The headrest felt well-designed and comfortably supportive, and even the towel covering my eyes was gently warmed throughout the session. The massage itself was, without exaggeration, the BEST I’ve ever had. I went with a friend, and despite our very different pressure preferences (I prefer deep pressure while my friend prefers something lighter), we both walked away feeling exactly the same: completely blown away. I spent the entire 90 minutes (honestly wishing I had booked 120) in awe of the technique. It struck a perfect balance between the art and science of massage. What stood out most was my masseuse's impeccable execution and precision. The human body isn’t flat or even, yet she was able to apply incredibly consistent pressure seamlessly from my neck through my upper and lower back in a single, fluid motion. Every movement had a purpose that was perfectly executed with patience; not a single movement felt perfunctory. My masseuse's sense of rhythm and flow was also remarkable — not just within each movement, where every firm press was followed by just the right release to allow me to breathe comfortably, but also in how the entire session was structured. It felt like she had a profound understanding of the human body: she knows how to release all my hidden tensions and guide my body into total relaxation. I also tend to prefer finger work over elbows or forearms, as larger tools can sometimes lack nuance. But my masseuse demonstrated the same level of control, accuracy, and sensitivity using her elbows, arms, and full body. It completely changed my perspective. This was a truly unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

I had a truly wonderful experience at this spa, and from the moment I walked in, I could already feel a deep sense of relaxation. The spa is beautifully decorated, with a calm and elegant design that immediately helps you unwind. Soft lighting, pleasant scents, and thoughtful interior details create a peaceful atmosphere, making it feel like a perfect escape from daily stress as soon as you enter. One thing I really appreciated was that the price was very reasonable for a hotel spa. Considering the quality of service, the environment, and the overall experience, it felt like great value for money. Many hotel spas tend to be overpriced, but this one strikes a good balance between luxury and affordability, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff truly stood out during my visit. The receptionist was very welcoming, friendly, and professional, which made the check-in process smooth and comfortable. I immediately felt well taken care of. The therapist was also extremely good, skilled, and attentive to my needs. They made sure I was comfortable throughout the session and clearly knew what they were doing, which added a lot of trust and confidence to the experience. The spa offers a minimum starting duration of one hour, which I think is perfect for fully relaxing and enjoying the treatment without feeling rushed. They also provide options such as Thai massage and oil massage, allowing guests to choose according to their preference and comfort level. This flexibility is a great bonus and makes the spa suitable for different needs. The massage room was very clean, well-designed, and thoughtfully arranged. I especially loved the layout and the calming ambiance inside the room. Everything felt hygienic, organized, and carefully maintained, which is very important for a spa experience. Overall, this spa is highly recommended. From the relaxing décor and reasonable pricing to the excellent service and clean, well-designed rooms, everything came together perfectly. I would definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quality spa experience in a hotel setting.

I had the most wonderful experience at Ikigai Spa in Bangkok and cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed into a serene oasis of calm and beauty. The spa’s environment is absolutely stunning — elegant Thai-inspired decor, soft lighting, gentle aromatherapy scents, and incredibly comfortable lounging areas that immediately make you feel relaxed and at home. We opted for the signature head massage, and it was pure bliss. The therapists are highly skilled and intuitive; their gentle yet effective techniques melted away all our stress and tension. Within minutes, I felt deeply relaxed, and before I knew it, I had drifted off into the most peaceful sleep. My partner had the same reaction — we both woke up feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and lighter than we had in weeks. The head massage not only eased our headaches but also left us with a profound sense of calm that lasted the rest of the day. The attention to detail at Ikigai Spa is impressive — from the luxurious linens and premium products to the thoughtful privacy and tranquility of each treatment room. The staff is professional, warm, and genuinely caring, making the entire visit feel personalized and special. Whether you’re looking for a quick escape or a full day of pampering, Ikigai Spa is the perfect choice in Bangkok. It’s more than just a spa — it’s a true wellness sanctuary. We will definitely be back!
