What Google reviewers say about ThaiThai Massage BTS Asoke (Sukhumvit 18)
Unfortunately, my experience at this massage salon today was not very pleasant, starting from the unfriendly girl at the reception desk to the overall look of the entire salon which claims to be a high-end, premium level, but unfortunately, it's just a beautiful cover. The salon only looks good from the street and near the reception, but the further you go into the salon, the more disturbing it becomes. Starting with the toilet l and ending with the horrible massage cabins, which look like they are made of cardboard. The setup is like this: they have several cabins in a row and all that separates them are sliding doors that are always open, and as I said, they seem to be made of cardboard, and because of this, you can hear everything happening. The rooms themselves were damp and uncomfortable. Also, because the room is small, the massage therapist kept bumping into this door/wall, which caused this wall to shake. I can’t say anything about the massage itself, as my impression and my mood were already spoiled by the initial exterior ambiance, and because of this, I might not be objective about the massage. But one thing I can say for sure is that the management should check the preparation of their massage therapists more carefully, specifically the length of their nails, because during the massage I felt scratching on my skin. Just like the receptionist, the rest of the staff who were in the salon and whom I met on my way were very little smiling and unfriendly, which really surprised me; I have encountered this for the first time. I felt very uncomfortable and unnecessary, as if I had come to the salon and was bothering them at work, and also as if no one there was happy to see me, although I remind you that I am paying you money, not the other way around. And this attitude surprised me, because when I came to the salon, all the cabins and rooms for massage were open, which means that they didn't have a single client at that moment except of me. And only when I already entered the room and my massage session started, another client appeared, who for some reason was placed in a room right next to me, even though all the cabins in a row were free. And because their rooms are made of half-open cardboard doors, and there wasn't a fully closed door between me and the client next to me (so there was a gap between us), I felt and heard everything that was happening there. I heard how the client was snoring and how someone’s phone was constantly receiving text messages, and how the massage therapist was talking as if it were in my room. To say that I was annoyed is to say nothing. I couldn’t relax at all, and at some point, I just wanted my massage to end faster and I wanted to leave. And when my massage finally finished, and they treated me to tasty but already cold tea, they were standing over me near the door watching me drink the tea, which made me feel so uncomfortable that the tea didn't even go down my throat, and I just got up and left. None of them asked how I was doing, if I liked the massage, and nobody even gave me a sincere smile. I was surprised by such an attitude in a massage salon, where people come to relax and get a pleasant boost of energy. Which is why I came. Well, unfortunately, I left even more tense than when I arrived there, and also without money. I am writing this message not just to complain, but I hope that this message will become a push for you to reconsider your service and think about what you can change in it. I hope you will start working for the benefit of your clients. I wish you a good luck.
I always make it a point to visit a massage place on my last day of vacation, so a good massage is a must for me. I had booked an 8pm slot at Thai Thai Massage, but we accidentally went to the wrong outlet since they were all located nearby. Thankfully, the receptionist was very kind and told us we could just proceed with our appointment at their outlet instead. I went for a 2-hour aromatherapy massage, while my partner chose a 2-hour Thai massage. After all the Songkran activities, we were both completely exhausted, and our goal was simply to relax and recover, which we definitely did. We both ended up falling asleep during the session. The staff were very attentive to my needs. I prefer a lighter pressure as my body is quite sensitive and tends to tense up easily, and the therapist adjusted accordingly, which made the experience very comfortable for me. I would also like to specially thank the lady in the green shirt and the petite therapist who were working on the night of 15 April. They were both professional, attentive, and provided an excellent experience. I really wanted to tip them, but unfortunately it was our last day and we had already used up our cash, I genuinely felt bad about it. On top of that, their prices are relatively more affordable compared to other massage places, which makes the whole experience feel like such a good deal. It would be even better if some light snacks could be offered alongside the hot tea, as this would make the overall experience feel more complete and comfortable. Highly recommend this place! Would definitely come back again
I visited Thai Thai Massage Centre, Sukhumvit on May 15th at 2:30 PM for a Siamese massage for 90 mins, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The therapist assigned to me appeared to be on her very first day and seemed highly inexperienced. She did not appear to understand pressure points or proper massage techniques and was mostly just applying oil without delivering an actual therapeutic massage experience. Additionally, during the session, she repeatedly coughed directly toward my face. I ignored it the first couple of times, but after it continued, it became very uncomfortable and unhygienic for me as a customer. What disappointed me even more was the response from the receptionist on the afternoon shift when I raised this concern. Instead of acknowledging the feedback professionally, her response was dismissive and defensive. She stated that I should have complained within the first 15 minutes. As a customer, it is difficult to immediately judge whether the service quality will continue to decline throughout the session. Although another 15 minutes with a different therapist was offered, it did not feel like a genuine resolution. As a tourist with limited time, extending the session was not practical for me, and the offer itself felt reluctant, as though it was being done as a favor rather than proper customer service. Overall, both the quality of the massage and the handling of the complaint left me extremely dissatisfied. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers do not face a similar experience.
