Disappointing Head Spa Experience in Thailand - Misleading Service & Poor Communication I recently visited this head spa in a Thailand with my husband. While the shop location and cleanliness seemed acceptable, our experience was highly frustrating. Firstly, I booked a 90-minute head spa session online, but upon arrival, I was told I would be charged an extra 150 THB because my hair goes past my shoulder blades. This additional fee was not mentioned anywhere during booking or showing in the website. Secondly, the staff had very limited English comprehension. When asked if I had changed clothes, I clearly said “not yet,” but the therapist still opened the curtain abruptly — leaving my husband and me in an exposed and uncomfortable situation. Most disappointingly, after the session, I realized the actual treatment lasted only about 60 minutes. When I asked the front desk, they claimed the remaining 30 minutes were reserved for hair drying, which was counted as part of the 90-minute service. This was not stated in the service menu, which clearly described “head massage and neck/shoulder therapy – 90 minutes.” I have visited many head spas, and never has blow-dry time been included in the treatment duration. I felt misled and poorly treated. I cannot recommend this place to anyone visiting Thailand.

One of the best head spa I have experienced. Newly opened in 2025, the Jai Chan Thai Massage and Head Spa is a highly professional and ensuring place to get a nice massage and head spa. The staff is very nice and very capable of making you relaxed and thorough. I ordered both the head spa and a foot massage because I needed both. I was ushered into a cozy room and laid down on the wide cushioned bed. Foot massage was firm and felt really good. Next, she positioned my head over the bowl and began a series of hair treatments. I couldn't count how many but there was a lot of hair products massaged into my scalp and hair then rinse and repeat. So nice to feel your hair and scalp being massaged. I tried to keep awake but the repeat massaging really makes your brain into a dream state. Next, they placed a ring of water over your hair which reminded me of being under a waterfall. This was the best part of the head spa. I didn't want the experience to end. Overall, this is a wonderful place to get your head spa and massage. Highly recommended!

Front counter not around and the ladies that help on the hair spa not informing us there is extra charges for hair length more than top bra line. After treatment, front counter gave us before treatment consent form and ask us pay extra 150batt each person, we refused to and she gave us not welcome face. Firstly, consent form should be done before treatment even you har customers lining up at queue what needs to be done, just do it! Don’t make it customer’s fault when they refused to pay what was not told before treatment! Secondly, the lady who helped me do my hair treatment, the pipe water was littered everywhere . Water plushies to my face, ears and shoulder. Won’t be saying this is a good treatment with the price they charged. Will not come again.
