KAYA MASSAGE AND BEAUTY (LINE ID : @kaya18)

Sorry, but we didn’t like it at all. We travel to Asia often, so we have something to compare it with. At this salon, we chose a spa package with a Thai deep tissue massage and hair washing. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel either a Thai massage or any real deep tissue work. Many areas were not worked on at all. Some areas were done too lightly, others too strongly. I even ended up with a bruise. My daughter’s hair looked better before the salon than after the wash, and it wasn’t even fully dried. We carefully chose this salon based on reviews, but it turned out to be no better than an ordinary beach salon. Even in Phu Quoc, my daughter had her hair washed and dried better than here. As soon as we left the salon, she burst into tears and went back to the hotel to wash her hair again. Overall, we do not recommend either the massage or the head spa at this salon. Very disappointing.

Although I had a good therapist, the pounding noise from the next door construction site was hard to ignore. It does not look like it will be completed in the coming year so in case anyone is looking for a relaxing time, do bring earplugs or completely give this place a miss at least in 2026. That said, the beds were cool. At the end of it turns into a foot bath basin and at the top it turns into a hair wash basin. I like that I didn’t have to move around to have different treatments. The sheer curtains between beds meant that if you were unlucky like me, you would hear word for word the loud customers on near by beds. Overall, decent value for a nice massage but ruined by its unfortunate surroundings.

Arrived in Bangkok this afternoon and made our way to Kaya a short time later. Was the perfect fix after spending 26 hours on flights to get here. We did the 6 in 1 service and are so glad we did! The massage was perfection, the shampoo experience heavenly and the blowout at the end left my hair soft and beautiful. We walked in without a reservation and they were able to see us straightaway. We enjoyed tea and biscuits after our treatments. Don’t miss this great spot!!
