MYTH Urban Retreat | Massage & Spa

It’s my first time here at MYTH Urban Massage & Spa. The vibe is warm and welcome. The staff is full of experience. Definitely will come for a visit again! Quality of Massage 💆🏻 I tried Royal Traditional Thai Massage which it’s great because they use hands and finger to help me stretch and also relieve my tiredness along the past few weeks. Staff Friendliness and Expertise ⭐️ Before we start, the owner let the staff come to check whether the style of massage match with me or not which it’s great. The staff (P’Ae) always telling me what point that my body has problem and she try to fix those spots for me :) Ambiance and Comfort 🛋️ The lobby and massage room is well-cleaned. Slow and instrumental music helps me relax and release. Value for Money 💵 600 THB for an hour is worth for anyone who would like to get relax especially after work!

Pretty sure the main reason this place has such good reviews is bc the owner aggressively tells guests to give her a 5 star review soon as they finish the massage. They are definitely not deserving of that. This place charges like 3x as much as others in Bangkok area and there’s nothing special about it. I walked in and its super bright lights and the woman who ran the place was very loud, not a relaxing vibe at all. Told them I wanted hard pressure and it was the most wimpy massage I’ve had. Bed was hard and uncomfortable too. I was not impressed -I’d never recommend this place. There’s so many good places in Bangkok to get a great massage for a fraction of the cost, that have a better vibe & higher quality massage.

If this place were closer to my home, I’d honestly come twice a week! I had my massage with MA and she was amazing. the pressure was just right, and her shoulder massage was especially incredible. The space is super clean and beautifully decorated, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. One thing I really appreciated was the massage bed. it had a face cradle and i got thai massage on it. Would have a hard time getting neck massages on flat beds because I have to twist my head to the side, and that always hurts my neck. But here, I was able to lie face down comfortably, and the massage felt so much better because of it. Highly recommend, especially if you’re picky about neck comfort like me!
