Best time to visit. Low humidity, clear skies. Book popular spots early — peak tourist season.
I used the hot spring facilities (I think it was a super luxury public bath, not a natural hot spring). I visited around 6 PM on a Saturday. Because it was full, I was able to enjoy the scents of the products while waiting for about 10 minutes. What bothered me was, as others have mentioned, the presence of floating particles in the hot spring water. The floor was slippery. The bath towels in the changing rooms and toilets were wet, which was unpleasant. Although it's open until 10 PM, it seemed that new entry had stopped by 7 PM. Near the wall of the sauna room, there were signs describing bathing methods and times tailored to different purposes such as relaxation, detoxification, and promoting sleep. It's unclear if meals are served, but tea and other beverages seemed available. Cleansing products are located in the washroom, not the bathing area. There was hand and body lotion, but nothing explicitly labeled as toner.
So so good (: the best ending to my Bangkok trip. Risa was so gentle and sweet throughout my entire experience. I booked a 90min session since it’s my first time with Panpuri and I deeply regret not booking a 2hr session instead. She got all the pressure points and helped release tension on many knots that accumulated from all the shopping the past week. I would love to revisit again and would gladly fly back to Bangkok for the weekend just to enjoy the wonderful massage session again.
All the accumulated fatigue from my time in Bangkok has completely melted away. It was comfortable, the service was great, and I felt so refreshed after getting in and out of the cold plunge pool. Whenever I come to Bangkok, this is my go-to place for massages! The package was substantial, and I am returning home completely fatigue-free.
