What Google reviewers say about TEAVA Wellness & Spa
I had a beautiful full-body massage treatment after a long day of walking and shopping around Bangkok. I passed by this place and decided to try it, and honestly, I’m so happy with my decision. Before starting, they let you smell and choose the scent of the oil they will use, which was such a nice touch. Everything was organized, clean, and professional. You can either walk in or book in advance, and the prices are suitable and good. My therapist, Nana, was amazing. She found the areas where I had pain and tension and helped me feel relaxed and full of energy again. The staff were very welcoming, especially Jida, who welcomed me with the best hospitality. She was amazing and made the experience feel even more special. After the treatment, they gave me a beautiful and delicious Thai milk tea with jelly, which was so yum. The place itself is beautiful, modern, and relaxing from inside. Thank you Nana, Jida, and the lovely team. I really recommend this place! I received a fantastic full-body massage after a long day of sightseeing and shopping in Bangkok. I stumbled upon this shop by chance and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. Before the massage began, the shop let me choose and smell my preferred massage oil, a small but very thoughtful detail. Everything was well-organized, clean, and professional. You can walk in or book in advance, and the prices are very reasonable. My masseuse, Nana, was amazing. She accurately identified all the sore and tense spots, helping me feel relaxed and energized. All the staff were very welcoming, especially Jida, who was incredibly attentive and provided exceptional service, making the experience even more special. After the massage, they served delicious Thai tea with jelly, a perfect ending. The shop's atmosphere is beautiful, modern, and very relaxing. Thank you so much to Nana, Jida, and the entire team for the wonderful service. If you're looking for a great massage in Bangkok, I highly recommend this place!
Terrible and dangerous experience. The therapist, a woman around 50, demonstrated a shocking lack of basic knowledge from start to finish. She told me to lie down on the bed immediately without any preparation. I had to ask her myself whether feet should be washed first — she clearly forgot. When she finally went to prepare the foot bath, the water was completely cold. When I asked why, she had no idea and was about to carry the cold basin out of the room. A coworker nearby had to stop her and explain that she should mix hot water with cold water using the kettle already in the room. Even then, she never tested the water temperature herself — she just had me dip my feet in repeatedly. It took several attempts before the temperature was even acceptable. Her massage technique was equally incompetent. She applied barely any pressure on areas that require firm work, like the reflexology zones on the soles of my feet — so light and slow that it was just uncomfortable and ticklish. Yet on sensitive areas with delicate capillaries, like the tops of the feet and the neck, she used extreme force. After the session, the tops of my feet had clearly visible red and purple marks from burst capillaries. The worst damage was to my neck. I explicitly asked her multiple times to go lighter, but she ignored me completely. Immediately after the massage, I noticed difficulty swallowing and discomfort when speaking. Over the following days, a painful lump developed near my throat — likely a hematoma — along with hoarseness, fever, and increasing pain. It has now been 3 days and the swelling is only getting worse. I am now seeking medical treatment for injuries directly caused by this massage. This therapist lacks the most basic professional training and this shop is irresponsible for letting her work on customers. Stay far away unless you want to leave in worse condition than you arrived.
Yesterday I visited a new spa that opened just six months ago — and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! 🌿 It’s not just a massage salon but a whole philosophy of relaxation that beautifully combines body care and tea culture. They offer a wide selection of teas from Chiang Rai, and these teas are also used to create oils, creams, shampoos, and scrubs. Before your treatment, you can choose your preferred oil, cream, or body scrub — all based on your favorite tea flavor. I chose a Hot Oil Massage and a tea-based body scrub — everything was perfect, and I felt completely relaxed. After the session, they served a dessert with sweets and a tea of my choice. At the end, I received a cold Thai tea with the spa’s logo, served in a branded cup — such a pleasant and thoughtful surprise. The atmosphere is amazing: clean, stylish, beautifully scented, and relaxing. You can feel that the owner has truly thought through every detail and put his heart into the place. The location is also super convenient — right in the city center, close to the metro. This spa is more than just a place for massage — it’s a whole journey into relaxation, comfort, and harmony. 🌸 I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!
