The Touch

The Touch is a small massage parlor on Ruamrudee, near the Ploen Chit BTS station. It's a serious massage parlor, offering massages without a "happy ending"... They offer various types of massages, fair prices, and a professional service. The rooms are dimly lit, with light background music and air conditioning. The masseuses are experienced and do an excellent job. You can leave a tip if you like. At the end of the massage (usually an hour), a pleasant tea is offered. Recommended, especially because they don't "rip off" foreign clients. The person serving me had a noticeably bad attitude after I asked for more pressure. He went from barely touching the surface of my skin to pressing extremely hard in a way that felt passive-aggressive, you could almost feel the anger radiating from him. The atmosphere of the place was unsettling and gloomy, with an overall sense of negativity that set it apart from any other place I’ve been. It was full of customers in the two massage stores, but this one had none. There is a reason for this alarming situation. For your own safety and well-being, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

For some reason this place doesn't show up on my Google Maps when searching massage in the area, only when typing name directly. Figured I'd give it a shot despite not having read any reviews and walked in around 10PM, was a comadated for a 90 minute Thai massage. Feet were washed and off to the table for the most thorough Thai massage I'd had yet. Lots of stretching worked into the massage and as a result my back cracked more than normal. I was so impressed by the masseuse I asked what massage school she went to (because at some point I'd like to do a course myself).
