Best time to visit. Low humidity, clear skies. Book popular spots early — peak tourist season.
Highly recommended. Good price, excellent service and clean. Many sauna rooms with different temp and some with various herbs. I enjoyed the dark sauna room with the herb and small garden in the glass. There are 2 cold pools. 18 and 12 degrees celsius. There was a gentleman Myanmar staff always around the area to help you. He maintained good manners always and had good attitude towards his work. Also, he assist you with keeping track of time when you inside the sauna. He always ready to help and direct you. Made me feel comfortable, especially since it was my first time there. The toilet, shower locker rooms had AC, hair dryer and more amenities with large mirror. Very clean and practical. I have long hair so it’s useful to have hair dryer. They provide you 1 wet slipper and after 1 dry slipper when you are done. They also provide you 1 face towel, body towel and black shorts in a net bag. I went on a Friday late evening so not a lot of people. Best way to enjoy Friday night to be honest. Felt super rejuvenated after and had one of the best sleeps ever. I will definitely come back.
The facilities are very good overall. I especially liked the cold tub, and although the onsen area only has three small tubs, the sauna facilities and relaxation areas help make up for it. There’s also a quiet room where you can rest or take a nap, and the bathrooms are clean, well-organized, and equipped with good amenities. The atmosphere is more lively and social compared to a traditional onsen, which gives it a different vibe from most places in Bangkok. Personally, I still enjoyed the experience and appreciate having an outdoor onsen option like this in the city. One area that could be improved is the seating situation, especially on weekends. Chairs are quite limited, and some guests reserve seats with their belongings while away for long periods, making it difficult for others to find a place to sit. The quiet zone can also become noisy during busy hours. Overall, I had a good experience and would likely visit again. If the seating and quiet zone management improve, this place would be even better.
I have received many massages before, but I felt a great deal of unease during this treatment. The therapist admitted that they were "not feeling strong today," but continued the treatment anyway, and their pressure application was very rough and inconsistent. In particular, I felt a lack of understanding of safety, such as pressing hard on my back and spine with their knee, and applying pressure to my neck with their elbow while I was lying down. Traditional massage, I believe, is not about brute force, but about carefully adjusting the body's flow and balance. However, I felt almost no such consideration or skill during this treatment. I believe that not only the individual therapist but also the establishment that allowed them to work without sufficient training is responsible. I hope that they will review their safety and basic techniques in the future.
