In the morning, my car wouldn't start, so I called 1268. They offer a towing service to take it to the service center I usually go to. The car arrived at the center at 10:30 AM. After waiting for a while and wondering what was wrong with the car or if any repairs were needed, I decided to inquire at the counter before 12:00 PM. I spoke to a male employee (who seemed new) who couldn't answer my questions and gave the wrong license plate number. He eventually told me to contact a man at counter 14. When I asked another man at counter 14, he said, "We're checking it. Please wait until this afternoon." I waited, thinking it was just lunchtime. Around 1:30 PM, I decided to ask again. The employee at counter 14 was very rude, sitting there on his phone, answering questions irritably and only saying "Not yet." Meanwhile, I contacted the salesperson I bought the car from to ask if this was normal. Around 2:00 PM, a car arrived and the staff told me to pick up my car, saying the battery had been replaced and there were no charges. I wasn't overly happy about the free service, but I wanted to know what was wrong with the car and why I wasn't informed before the replacement. Furthermore, when I inquired twice, they withheld information. They acted as if they were annoyed with the customer. After that, I tried to ask what was wrong with the car, and another male employee (the third one) stepped in to explain that I use the car infrequently or drive in heavy city traffic, etc. I replied that I don't; I use the expressway, there's no traffic, and I drive at the legal speed limit. The third employee kept saying that I live in a traffic-congested area and don't drive fast. I was confused as to whether they understood that I can choose when to leave home and don't drive during peak traffic hours. (I repeated this three times until I was tired and gave up.) Finally, it ended with them saying it depends on the customer's usage and the weather, etc. I've used this service center since buying the car. Usually, they offer optional services, which I always follow because I want to keep my car in good condition and last as long as possible. The wait times are very long, and I've always tried to be patient, taking work with me and skipping lunch or even dinner, sometimes because they offer snacks (but that's not the same as a proper meal). I thought I was being patient, but this time, the counter staff were unprofessional, didn't discuss details with the customer, and didn't explain or provide standard Toyota car usage advice. I'm very disappointed. If it's a top Japanese brand, with true Japan Quality, it wouldn't be like this. Please fix this and implement KAIZEN (Good Customer Service).
This place is terrible for routine car maintenance. I usually go elsewhere, but I switched here because a friend recommended it. I'm extremely disappointed. Each visit costs at least 10,000 baht. They push unnecessary services, adding many unnecessary items like "miracle fluids" and other consumables. The service staff is awful, from the moment they receive the car to the mechanics. They can't answer any questions. They keep insisting on removing unnecessary items, just to get their sales. Even when I mentioned I recently had my AC filter changed, they still tried to push those. Their explanations were confusing and they kept saying things like "not doing this will cause serious problems," repeatedly. They even claimed that during the Corona era, if customers didn't do the unnecessary services and something broke, the service center wouldn't be responsible. Seriously? The fluids they mentioned aren't even in the manual. The staff needs training and should understand the product specifications and nature of their products. They shouldn't just keep pushing things they've always done. The miscellaneous prices are also more expensive than elsewhere. They force you to sign the PDPA consent form (terrible, I've never encountered this before. They should study this properly; sensitive information gives customers the right to refuse, not be forced to sign). They even made me sign because I didn't agree. The restrooms smell terrible constantly, even in the mornings. The waiting chairs are rock hard. The air conditioning was on, making the car extremely hot, and flies were buzzing around. I called motor support, and the central office forwarded the issue to this service center. Their solution was to have an execution-level employee call and argue with the customer, repeatedly saying the customer was at fault, instead of a supervisor trying to understand the situation. The resolution was poor, and I received no apology or compensation for what happened. (Later, a senior staff member called to apologize, but the issue remains unresolved.) My family owns over 10 cars of this brand; this will likely be the last one we buy from them. In today's competitive market, customers are constantly switching brands. Experiencing this kind of incident causes the brand to lose loyal customers who have owned your cars since my grandfather's time driving a Corona. Frankly, I'm extremely disappointed. I was planning to upgrade to a 2025 Camry, but after such terrible after-sales service, I'm starting to look at other brands.
1. It started with a call from 1268 informing me about a promotion for a voucher when making a pre-scheduled maintenance appointment. When I brought the car in, there was no remark about the voucher, and I had to wait in line for about half an hour for a cost estimate from 9 other customers. 2. My car's central locking system wasn't working, so the staff needed time to check it. My appointment was at 10:30 AM, but I spoke with a staff member at 11:00 AM and was scheduled to pick up the car at 4:00 PM (a very long wait, but not the peak point yet). 3. I decided to wait as instructed. I called a taxi to go have lunch and walk around The Mall Bangkapi, and rescheduled my family appointments. While waiting, I became suspicious because no one called to inform me about any additional repairs or costs. It turned out that it was almost 4 PM, and the car still wasn't ready. I'm not sure if they had checked anything yet, because I had to wait another 30 minutes before a staff member informed me what needed to be replaced. There was no apology, the staff member was impolite, and the service was terrible. There were many items that needed replacing, but my time and patience were running out. However, I must say that my tone and words, even while extremely frustrated, were more polite than the staff member's. 4. In summary, our car only needed an oil change, and we waited from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We received a voucher, but it wasn't worth the lost weekend time. It was a complete waste of my time. I'm writing this review to remind myself not to go back to this service center again. Bad experience.
