What Google reviewers say about URI Spa & Massage Asoke
I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage last Sunday, and it was amazing! It hit every sore spot, focusing deeply and with perfect pressure, especially on my neck, shoulders, lower back, and shoulder blades. I specifically asked the masseuse to emphasize these areas, and she did it exactly as I wanted. Even though she didn't use her elbows (because I'm small), her hands and fingers were incredibly strong. Days after the massage, I have no bruises or swelling. Most other massages I've had leave marks. I usually don't ask the masseuse's name, but here I couldn't resist – she was "Masseuse Nan." It was a truly effective deep tissue massage; she focused on the right points and pressure points, not just a strong massage. I will definitely go back. The shop is clean, cute, and comfortable. The receptionist was lovely and spoke politely. My only minor complaint is that she wasn't very experienced with the billing process; she had trouble processing my card payment several times. Overall, I was very happy with the massage.
I don't usually leave reviews or bad feedback, but this time I was extremely dissatisfied. I got a Tiger Balm Thai massage, but the masseuse just touched my skin. It was terrible; there was absolutely no massage sensation. I feel like I wasted the 690 baht. I really wouldn't recommend it. It's my biggest pet peeve in Thailand when I encounter masseuses like this…
I received a massage from Sa-san. In conclusion, it was the best Thai massage I've ever had. It was a 90-minute massage with Tiger Balm, but next time I'm in Bangkok I'd like to request a 120-minute session. I have a prosthetic leg and a herniated disc, but I felt much better for a while afterward. I'm definitely going back. I wish I had known about this sooner!
