The first impression was great. I was welcomed with a complimentary drink, followed by a foot wash with salt stones, which set a positive tone for the experience. Unfortunately, the massage itself was one of the worst massage experiences I have ever had. My therapist (No. 90) applied such light pressure throughout the session that I could barely feel anything. I politely asked her to increase the pressure on two separate occasions. While she pressed slightly harder for a brief moment, she quickly reverted back to the same extremely light pressure. For a premium-priced massage at 950 THB for 90 minutes, plus an additional 3% surcharge for card payments, I expected a significantly better experience. The treatment felt incomplete and lacked technique. My back was only worked on briefly, while my head and hands were not attended to at all. Instead, most of the session seemed focused on repeatedly massaging my calves and thighs and even then, the pressure and quality were far below expectations. I found myself constantly checking the time and waiting for the session to end. I left feeling neither relaxed nor refreshed. In fact, I was more frustrated when I walked out than when I walked in. While the welcome service and ambience were pleasant, the massage itself did not come close to justifying the price. Unfortunately, this experience completely ruined my mood for the day and I would not return or recommend it based on the quality of the massage I received. Update: The co-founder, Dennis, personally reached out after reading my review. He acknowledged the issues without making excuses, apologised and offered either a refund or a complimentary session with a senior therapist. While I wasn’t able to take up the offer as I’m leaving Bangkok, I appreciate the professionalism and accountability shown in handling the feedback.
I came here after bring influenced by reels on social media. Thought it looked pretty good so decided to come here to give it a try. Tried to make appointment via WhatsApp and they sent me the menu of services. The menu wasn't too straightforward so there was some exchange of information before my doubts got clarified and I booked a 2 hour session for a massage and a head spa. Arrived at the shop on time had to wait a while and filled in form for registration. Started off with the massage first, though in the form I requested for firm pressure and focus on certain areas they didn't follow the instructions and hence the massage fell short of my expectations. The pressure was rather soft and my focus areas not attended to and after massage didn't feel any improvements to the ache areas were not relieved. Then stayed on the same bed just facing upwards and the bed actually transformed to the bed for the head spa. The one hour session passed by pretty quickly and it was a rather relaxing session. Was brought to a room to blow dry and style the hair and served snack which the most memorable moment for the entire time was probably how delicious the rice cracker was. Completed both services but overall still didn't feel it was complete and left a bit disappointed. Not sure if it will happen again to someone else or just a once off incident.
From the moment I stepped into Pitipata Massage, I felt an immediate sense of calm and relaxation. The ambiance is absolutely stunning—minimalist yet warm, with natural textures, soft lighting, and beautiful touches that create a true oasis in the heart of Bangkok. The facilities are immaculate and thoughtfully designed. From the serene massage chairs and private treatment rooms to the cozy foot spa area and traditional Thai mat sections, every corner of the spa invites you to unwind. I especially appreciated the attention to detail—the warm towels, soothing decor, and the peaceful soundtrack playing throughout. The staff were kind, professional, and deeply attentive to comfort and technique. My massage was exceptional—one of the best I’ve had in Thailand—with just the right pressure and rhythm. I left feeling completely rejuvenated. To top it all off, they served a beautiful post-treatment tray of warm oolong tea and homemade ‘khao tan’ rice crackers sourced from Chiang Mai—an incredibly thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable. I also loved the warm message card, reminding me that this wasn’t just a service, but a heartfelt experience. If you’re in Bangkok and looking for a premium, tranquil, and authentic massage experience, Pitipata is a must-visit. I’ll absolutely be returning.
