What Google reviewers say about Feel Spa and Massage
After reading the Google reviews, my partner and I chose to get our first Thai massage here. My partner prefers a lighter massage and communicated this to the person on reception beforehand, and was assured his masseuse would be told. I prefer a harder massage but being new to Thai massage, I was a bit nervous about either the masseuse going too hard on me, or going too soft because of my partner's request...no need to have worried, we both had great experiences! We were massaged in the same room so I was able to tell that my partner's masseuse was going lighter on him. At the start of mine, my masseuse told me to tell her if I experienced any pain and she checked on me constantly throughout and was very communicative. We even had a giggle because I clearly had no idea what to do throughout it but she guided the massage well. This place is a little bit pricier than places around it but as a Thai massage newbie, I'd rather pay extra to know I'm in safe hands with a professional who communicates well. It was also a lovely clean facility, highly reccommend!
I was hoping for a traditional Thai massage, but the experience was far from authentic. The pressure was extremely light throughout, with almost no proper technique, stretching, or structure. At times, the therapist appeared disengaged , falling asleep and barely applied pressure, which made the treatment feel ineffective and not like a real Thai massage. For 600 baht, this felt very poor value for money. I’ve had many proper Thai massages in Thailand before , and this did not meet even basic expectations. The space also did not feel particularly clean or well-maintained despite the welcoming exterior- see attached photo . Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I found the high ratings misleading. I would advise others to be cautious, as this felt more like a tourist-oriented place than a genuine massage experience. I actually left half way through the massage as it felt like a waste of time and money and not a relaxing experience . For context I did not ask to be refunded - I just think the place is not honest with its reviews .
Took a chance based on reviews and journeyed across town. They were late opening but we were able to wait in the hotel lobby. They were attentive enough to come get us when they were finally opened. You pay in advance. Menu is limited to the basic treatments. Nice foot wash at the beginning. You wear a top/bottom combo throughout that they provide. My gal was rather “pokey” in her massage vs smooth strokes. She did a nice stretch/flexibility movement at the end. My husband had a gal who massaged with more long smooth strokes and no stretching so he was happy with his. I think for the price you are paying for a nice atmosphere vs a quality massage from a trained professional. Overall the massage itself was average, while the atmosphere was lovely.
