"I think Makkha is undoubtedly beautiful and clean and of the highest hygiene and quality standards. However, I think it’s important nonetheless to not be complacent despite the brand’s every success. At the price point (about 2X-3X that of other places), it should be, in my view, imperative to explain the process of every treatment package selection— for example what does the facial treatment comprise, or what mask are they going to put on your face (like soft mask? Clay mask? Products from Thailand?). I think the brand is definitely successful and the service was good, but at such a price point I think it’s important to not skip important processes— even cheaper places would tell you what a 2-item 120 min package comprises, is it 60-60min or 90-30? or simultaneous? And they’d tell you what the steps are and what products are going to be put on your face, which is what Makkha actually didn’t do— while it doesn’t change the outcome, at a price premium relative to other places in BKK (we paid almost US$140 for two pax), it'd be good if they considered not forgetting to do this. For me personally, I think it's important for the customer to understand what is being put on the face, or whether it is simultaneously or 60mins aroma and 60 mins facial and whether the products are sourced from Thailand strictly or elsewhere. Otherwise, a really great massage place, beautiful atmosphere and great skills, remarkably clean. Exciting experience from reservation to pick up with tuk tuk, till arriving and enjoying the post treatment mango sticky rice. We look forward to our next visit."

"My wife and I recently visited for a 2-hour Aroma Oil Massage, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Our therapists, Kii and Aoy, were both exceptional. They were highly skilled, professional, and attentive to our comfort throughout the entire session. Their pressure, techniques, and overall service were perfectly tailored to our needs, leaving us feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The 2-hour treatment felt luxurious and was exactly what we needed. Considering the quality of the massage, the time spent, and the level of service provided, the price was absolutely worth it. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and professional massage experience. A special thank you to Kii and Aoy for making our visit so memorable. We will definitely be coming back!"

"We visited around 11am on Sunday, 26 July. It was not crowded, to the point I thought it might be closed. But the gate was open, and I ask for forgiveness not permission, so in we went. This Buddhist temple was built in 1937 on the ground that had been occupied by two previous temples. There must've been recent renovations here, or their maintenance team deserves a raise, because this property looks like it could've been built in the last 10 years. The striking appearance of the colors and assorted statues and artwork, it was all stunning. There are two Main Halls at this temple, both containing an impressive display of Buddha statues, wall art, and large vases. Maybe most importantly, as this place was not crowded, it was easy to take a moment inside one of the halls to peacefully communicate silently and appreciate the gifts I've received in my life. I felt so comfortable here. This is certainly not the oldest temple in Bangkok, but it is well worth a visit if you find yourself in this area. It's also located right off the BTS Ekkamai station, so it's very convenient. Free to enter. Please remove your shoes and dress modestly if you go inside the buildings."

"I had a 1.5-hour oil massage at Better Day Healthy Massage (Novotel), priced at 1,100 baht. You can choose between coconut or lavender oil, which is a nice touch. Before starting, they ask you to fill out a short questionnaire, including which areas you want extra focus on and which areas you do not want touched, something I really appreciated. The massage therapist fully respected my request for a very soft massage. Only the head massage felt a bit stronger at times, but I assume that is part of the Thai style. I had a private cabin with a shower and sink, which was very convenient. Everything was very clean, the temperature was perfect, and the relaxing music with water sounds created a calm and soothing atmosphere. The only downside for me was the space outside the treatment room. When you arrive, you are right in front of the reception desk, and after the massage, you sit in the same area to drink your bael tea. It felt a bit overwhelming, and I also felt slightly pressured to finish my tea and leave, as both the manager and the therapist were nearby and watching 😅 I would recommend creating a more private, quiet space where guests can slowly come back to reality after the massage, especially in a five-star hotel like Novotel. Overall, a very good and professional massage experience, with just a small improvement needed on the post-massage moment."

"I was very impressed! I give it 100/10. The atmosphere and service were truly like a 5-star hotel. From the moment I stepped in, it smelled wonderful, was clean, and relaxing. The reception staff were very attentive. Most importantly, the massage skills were excellent. The pressure was exactly what I've been looking for. After the massage, I felt light and all my aches and pains were gone. I felt truly recharged. I recommend booking through Gowabi for a better price and to use discounts."

"I left feeling violated. I was at the end of the massage and she was stretching my arms way too hard and i asked her repeatedly "stop stop stop" and sounding in pain, i forced my arms down but she just said "sabai sabai", took my arms up again and yanked them so hard that im still in pain 1 hour after. The rest of the massage was less than OK. she farted, then farted again more silently thinking i wouldnt hear. I also asked specifically for a softer massage, and it was still too hard. The store clerk was very friendly, but the therapist i got was the worst i have ever had in my life, and i've been to over 30 massage parlors in thailand. Very distressing experience"

"I had an amazing experience at Herbal Ground Spa with the 4-hour Deep Sleep Package. My therapist, Cake, was excellent. She took care of me throughout the entire session, and I was pleasantly surprised that she was my same therapist from start to finish, I had expected different therapists for different parts of the package. The body, facial, leg, and head massages were all excellent. The treatment was so relaxing that I had a deep, restful sleep during the session, which was exactly what I needed. The spa itself has a beautiful, calming, and peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The prices are reasonable, the only minor downside is that it's a little far from the BTS station, but the experience was well worth the journey. I highly recommend Herbal Ground Spa, especially if you're looking to truly relax and recharge. Thank you, Cake, for the wonderful service!"

"*First of all, an honest review: no free gifts included.* Date & Time: 2026/07/19 12:30 Service: Basic unscented oil massage, 90 minutes, 945 THB per person The masseuse I met today was a young and relatively tall woman, probably around 170cm. I can only say that this is the first time I've truly understood why some massages are so good you'd want to marry her/take her home! Her pressure was just right, and her hands hit the acupoints instantly. Her palms were warm, thick, and soft, and the essential oil immediately upgraded to a warm oil massage. The overall experience was truly amazing. Unfortunately, I was too shy to ask her name, but she's definitely a valuable asset to the shop! If I owned a massage parlor in Taiwan, I would definitely poach her! 🤣🤣 Furthermore, the staff themselves were very warm and gentle, genuinely wanting you to feel comfortable rather than just taking your money. Overall, highly recommended! 🥰🥰🥰"

"Unfortunately, my experience at this massage salon today was not very pleasant, starting from the unfriendly girl at the reception desk to the overall look of the entire salon which claims to be a high-end, premium level, but unfortunately, it's just a beautiful cover. The salon only looks good from the street and near the reception, but the further you go into the salon, the more disturbing it becomes. Starting with the toilet l and ending with the horrible massage cabins, which look like they are made of cardboard. The setup is like this: they have several cabins in a row and all that separates them are sliding doors that are always open, and as I said, they seem to be made of cardboard, and because of this, you can hear everything happening. The rooms themselves were damp and uncomfortable. Also, because the room is small, the massage therapist kept bumping into this door/wall, which caused this wall to shake. I can’t say anything about the massage itself, as my impression and my mood were already spoiled by the initial exterior ambiance, and because of this, I might not be objective about the massage. But one thing I can say for sure is that the management should check the preparation of their massage therapists more carefully, specifically the length of their nails, because during the massage I felt scratching on my skin. Just like the receptionist, the rest of the staff who were in the salon and whom I met on my way were very little smiling and unfriendly, which really surprised me; I have encountered this for the first time. I felt very uncomfortable and unnecessary, as if I had come to the salon and was bothering them at work, and also as if no one there was happy to see me, although I remind you that I am paying you money, not the other way around. And this attitude surprised me, because when I came to the salon, all the cabins and rooms for massage were open, which means that they didn't have a single client at that moment except of me. And only when I already entered the room and my massage session started, another client appeared, who for some reason was placed in a room right next to me, even though all the cabins in a row were free. And because their rooms are made of half-open cardboard doors, and there wasn't a fully closed door between me and the client next to me (so there was a gap between us), I felt and heard everything that was happening there. I heard how the client was snoring and how someone’s phone was constantly receiving text messages, and how the massage therapist was talking as if it were in my room. To say that I was annoyed is to say nothing. I couldn’t relax at all, and at some point, I just wanted my massage to end faster and I wanted to leave. And when my massage finally finished, and they treated me to tasty but already cold tea, they were standing over me near the door watching me drink the tea, which made me feel so uncomfortable that the tea didn't even go down my throat, and I just got up and left. None of them asked how I was doing, if I liked the massage, and nobody even gave me a sincere smile. I was surprised by such an attitude in a massage salon, where people come to relax and get a pleasant boost of energy. Which is why I came. Well, unfortunately, I left even more tense than when I arrived there, and also without money. I am writing this message not just to complain, but I hope that this message will become a push for you to reconsider your service and think about what you can change in it. I hope you will start working for the benefit of your clients. I wish you a good luck."

"Three of us visited this massage parlor twice. Both times, everyone loved it. The atmosphere, the service, and the massage itself were all top-notch. On our first visit, we had a classic Thai massage (royal Thai massage - 1 hour - 500 baht), and on our second visit, we tried a Swedish oil massage (1 hour - 800 baht). They even gave our child a stuffed toy, which made him doubly happy. Highly recommended!"

"I had the 5-in-1, 90-minute massage, which included a shoulder, neck, and foot massage, and it was absolutely wonderful. It was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep during the session—and I slept very deeply! I’ve had massages at many different places, from luxury spas to local massage shops, and I can honestly say this place stands out. It was very clean, smelled wonderful, and everyone was so friendly and kind. A special thank you to my therapist, Kathy. She was excellent, and I truly appreciated her care and skill. I would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!"

"We booked our massage appointment at Health Land Spa in advance by phone, which was easy and efficient. We arrived a bit early, and after checking in and paying at the reception, we were invited to wait in their beautiful lounge area. The waiting area was calm and tastefully decorated, with comfortable seating and complimentary cold water. From the moment you enter, you’re welcomed by a soothing and pleasant aroma that fills the entire space — it smells absolutely wonderful and sets the mood right away. When it was time for our massage, we were politely called by our therapists, who handed us massage slippers and collected our shoes. We were then guided to the massage room, which was already prepared and immaculately clean. After changing into the provided massage clothes, we began our two-hour Thai massage. The massage itself was excellent — very professional, relaxing, and perfectly balanced. The therapists were attentive and receptive to feedback; if any part felt too strong or too light, they adjusted it right away with a smile. You really feel in good hands. At the end of the session, we were offered a warm, delicious herbal tea — the perfect way to finish the experience. For two hours of massage, we paid only 700 baht per person, which is an incredible value for the quality and service provided. Inside the spa, there is also a small herbal shop where you can purchase natural products and remedies. Overall, our experience at Health Land was fantastic from start to finish — calm atmosphere, skilled therapists, fair pricing, and thoughtful details. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a professional and relaxing massage in Bangkok."

"Run away!! Most of the reviews I read were about this movie theater in the mall. The staff were unwelcoming. I went to see a movie today, and the power went out in the middle of every movie in every theater. The staff were very slow to come and call out customers. They told everyone to gather in front of the theater. Everyone came out, both Thai and foreigners, complaining. They didn't explain anything, just said the power went out and the movie couldn't continue. They offered refunds. You could see everyone was upset. It really ruined the experience for people who were really looking forward to seeing a movie. I overheard one staff member telling a customer, "We can't give you a refund because you're almost finished watching the movie." I was shocked, like, is that even possible? The movie was almost over, but it wasn't because of your theater! But then I saw another staff member say, "No, no!" Like, the movie was going on, halfway through, and we had to waste time watching it again. Great job with this movie theater in the mall. The staff aren't welcoming anyway. Excellent! Everyone was complaining. I don't even want the refund, but it's the wasted time for people who really wanted to see that movie and had to watch it again."

"My husband and I had the best anniversary experience at Yumoto Spa. We booked a 90 minute private onsen experience and it was perfect because we didn’t feel rushed and we could take our time enjoying both the onsen and the Himalayan salt sauna. Afterwards, we were able to enjoy our own massages. He enjoyed his aromatherapy massage for an hour and I thoroughly enjoyed my 90 minute massage with Noi. So much that I forgot how healing Thai massages were. I would definitely recommend going to Yumoto Spa after landing in Bangkok especially to help you to adjust to the jet lag after a long flight. It will be worthwhile & a memorable experience."

"Unfortunately, my experience was not as pleasant as I had hoped. First, I would like to mention that the place itself is beautiful, very clean, relaxing, and has a wonderful atmosphere. However, I specifically requested a very gentle massage, but the pressure I received was much stronger than what I asked for. I mentioned this during the treatment and asked for the pressure to be reduced, but I did not feel a significant difference afterward, and it still felt too strong for me. In addition, throughout the massage, the therapist repeatedly moved between working on my head/scalp and my shoulders while leaning on or pressing against my hair. This caused my hair to be pulled several times, which was quite uncomfortable. After it happened repeatedly, I no longer felt comfortable bringing it up again, but it definitely affected my overall experience. I believe this is something a professional therapist should be mindful of during a treatment. Considering the price of 520 baht per hour, which is not inexpensive compared to many other massage places in the area, I expected a higher level of attention to detail and client comfort. It is disappointing because the venue itself is lovely, well-maintained, and very relaxing. Unfortunately, the treatment I received did not match my requests and did not provide the comfortable, relaxing experience I was hoping for."

"I first visited about five years ago, and this is probably my sixth visit. It's a bit of a walk from Phrom Phong, about 10 minutes, but it's worth it. I always come without a reservation, but depending on the time of day, it might be a good idea to make one. This time, I visited after 1:00 PM, so there were no other customers and I was treated in a private room. I always fill out a massage questionnaire with my requests, but this time there weren't any. I wish they hadn't omitted the questionnaire, as it allows me to succinctly communicate the intensity and focus of the massage. Even with that in mind, I'd rate this place five stars. I always choose the two-hour Thai traditional massage (1,000 baht). There are other, more expensive options, but I've never chosen them, so I can't comment. The building is clean and relaxing. The massage was thorough. I'll definitely use it again."

"Worst place… went there for full body massage… I cry after cause I was suffering during this massage, (I feel was more torture than massage) no professional just so painful, the professional is not professional, the massage have no sense, getting slap, do one leg after do the neck after go to the other leg, never touch the feet but is full body… she massage my head so strong and terrible that I loose my hair so much after… my skin was full of mark, I cry of stress and pain, I got acne this day and the person just touch my acne so hard was so painfullllll ! Put her finger in my eyes ?? Like what is that ?? even for the intimacy, I feel the person touch so much between my leg, likeeee no my leg, but you get the point right ? impossible to get comfortable and relax… And always feel when you arrived at this place they look at you like “ oooh nooo… another person… again” I’ll never come back to this place"

"Visited on this morning 2023.08.01. Shop is run by Korean and very well managed. The website is in Korean language and not much information. Appointment and communication in English by TALK is fine and with very quick response. The shop is very clean, very calm and the massage technique is professional. Different from most other local shops, appreciate that the slippers provided in this shop are clean and new. Toilet is also very clean and dry. Air conditioning temperature in the massage room is optimal. I expericned too hot or too freezing cold massage shop in my 6 days' trip. Only a bit sound from the machine on the wall next to the air conditioner regularly seems very 20 mins probably is the air purifier. Customer is served with a small bottle of cold water upon arrival. This point showed that the owner is of good considerate for hot weather outside. Hot tea with Thai cakes are served after the massage. I appointed 10am to have 2 hours Thai massage treatment before I have to catch my flight back to Hong Kong in the afternoon. When I arrive 0950, the shop and staff are all well ready and prepared to work. Also already see many Korean customers arrived earlier than me started to have treatments. The ground floor entrance is so spacious with a few tables to allow u feeling relax no stuffy. Good that very sufficient space for travellers' luggages. Most important thing and is that I feel no hard feeling to be forced to pay tips. Highly recommend this shop."

"The therapists were professional, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. The massage was just the right pressure, helping to release the tension from my shoulders and back without being unbalanced. After the treatment, I felt completely refreshed and recharged. The complimentary tea and light refreshments were also a lovely finishing touch. If you’re looking for a luxurious spa experience with excellent service and a truly relaxing environment, Divana Spa is definitely worth a visit."

"I've been living just steps from this massage shop for a couple of months and was a regular, visiting several times a week since late November. The massages were always good—relaxing and professional—so I brought my sister, parents, and friends, who all enjoyed it. But some time ago, I politely asked for a softer massage. The therapist got angry, started yelling, and stormed out of the room. Since then, she's instructed the other staff not to serve me, and now they refuse—even when I book in advance. As a loyal customer spending 1,000–2,000 baht most weeks and bringing new clients, it's shocking how one person's behavior can literally ruin the business for a regular. The massages are good and the location is convenient, but this lack of professionalism has made me feel completely unwelcome. I'm now looking for another place."

"This nail service and shop is the best I've found in bkk so far. Cher did such a thorough job on my pedicure and manicure. She was very gentle and meticulous about the cleaning, flawless in polish application, and she kept checking in to make sure I was happy. The equipment used was newer and better than the other service I received in bangkok and it was clean. A loving suggestion for the owners/ all nail salons in bkk: start offering sculpted manicure. Adding that simple touch would amplify the shape and beauty, and most mid to high-end salons now do this as default. Thank you. 🙏 Update to my review: Same day as service several toe nails were bumpy due to the topcoat product (regular polish). Cher was very cautious to dry every nail, and I sat for manicure after pedicure, so it's obvious the topcoat the salon used was the culprit. 3 days after service, 2 finger nails were chipped and one was painfully broken, and this was with gel. For the price, I expected much better. Cher did not do the gel removal on my hands, another tech did, and I asked her several times to be gentle because she was pressing hard with the drill and I feared damage to my nails. The results just a few days later confirm my concern. I can't recommend this salon."

"A big wet market. You can buy fresh produce here. Most kinds of local vegetables, fruit and meat, spices, dried foods, pastes etc. In the streets around the market, there are cooked food sellers. Many of the sellers are Muslim, so you can buy roti and mussaman curry etc. In front of the market is a shop selling kitchen and household equipment, like gas stoves, woks, glassware, cutlery, plates, brooms, storage boxes etc. In the vicinity, you can find a stationary shop, a decent 20 baht discount store with useful items, a shop selling plastic boxes for meals, a hifi shop, an aircon store, a snack foods store, and others. All at local prices. Thai language only."

"I visited around 10am on a Monday morning and was seated immediately without a reservation. The person at the front desk, who seemed to be the manager, spoke a little Japanese, which made it easy to understand the menu. This time I had the 60-minute foot and head massage, which was done by two people. My legs were really sore from walking around the day before, so there were some painful spots, but they adjusted the pressure based on my reactions, so it felt incredibly good and my body felt so much lighter. I will definitely come back when I return to Thailand."

"It’s great reviews all over here. But you need to take chances of whom you will see at the shop. I was asking for a good strong therapist. They said anyone can do hard massage. It was started for about 15 minutes Thai massage. I didn’t complain anything. Then, my therapist said that “Do you want to change to other therapist whose can do better/harder than me?” I said no need because you will have trouble from that. She said No, it’s ok then she walked out. Left me in the room for about 10mins. Then another lady who’s standing by at the counter came to see me that noone else is available. The way she talked with me was quite rude like she’s superior with the attitude. I said that I didn’t ask for a change the therapist offered herself and left. Then, she left me in the room for another 15mins or so. Then, “Aom” came in and started to massage me herself said that the other lady who left doesn’t want to come in anymore. “Aom” makes sure she massaged me very hard so hard to the point that seems like she’s angry at the customer. Then, more conversation later, with all kinds of hands gestures and attitude. I explained to her that her reaction and conversation with me is impolite. She just answered “อือ“ ”ยักไหล่“ ”มองบน“. She said that her boss told her that she got such calm personality. I would totally disagree. She might be able to organize office work well but she’s so bad at service work. She told me to keep my voucher to use with my regular therapist next time and that’s it. And then, she’s ignoring me completely after. No eye contact, no other conversation, no water, no farewell, just walks away from the counter. All other therapists doesn’t look at me either. I felt ashamed, defeated and full of disappointment than you can imagine. Ps. The shop said the customer booked the service MANY TIMES AND DOESN’T SHOW UP! That’s NOT TRUE! The first time it happened, I phoned up on Sat at 10am. (when the shop started opening, that I can’t make it. Then asked to book for the service on Monday instead, which is TODAY! I have a voucher to use up so I need to go back again when my Therapist: Khun Jang is around. Or I will loose my money for nothing! Seems like the shop doesn’t want to take up some responsibility for the bad manners of some staff. She even complained after hung up the phone from the other customer right away of how picky she was and she better go to other places. While I was there hearing everything! This is probably NOT THE SPA’S OWNER FAULTS! If the DIO SPA’s OWNER would like to hear the whole story from my part properly please feel free to contact me."

"I had the most relaxing skincare experience at Jasmin Korean Facial Spa in Bangkok. I had heard so many good things about this place and now I completely understand why it’s rated so highly on GoWabi. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt so calming, the interiors are beautiful, clean, and have that peaceful Korean spa vibe that instantly helps you unwind. The entire experience felt premium and thoughtfully done. I tried their Oxygen Jet Skin Brightening Treatment (75 minutes), and my skin honestly felt so refreshed afterwards. The treatment included deep cleansing, oxygen jet technology, pore care, hydration, and a nourishing mask. I especially loved the advanced equipment they used, the oxygen jet and ultrasonic treatment made the whole experience feel very high-tech and effective. What made it even better were the relaxing head, neck, shoulder, and back massages during the treatment. The attention to detail, the products, the ambience, and the staff’s care really stood out. My skin looked brighter, smoother, and had that fresh glow immediately after the session. This was definitely one of my favourite beauty experiences in Bangkok and I would happily come back again."

"Wow, what an incredible experience! Easily one of the best massage shops I’ve been to in Bangkok, and I’ve tried quite a few over the years. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations and left us feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Booking online was super easy and hassle-free. The website was straightforward, and I got an instant confirmation. What really impressed me was when we happened to pass by the shop earlier in the day—the receptionist immediately recognized our names, welcomed us warmly, and even confirmed our booking on the spot. That personal touch really stood out. She also let us know about an ongoing discount, which was automatically applied at checkout—no need to ask. It’s rare to find that level of honesty and customer care. The shop itself is spotless, well-scented, and has a calm, inviting atmosphere. The staff are polite, professional, and genuinely make you feel at ease. Even the little details, like the warm foot wash before the massage, were done with care and attention. Now, the massage—absolutely top-notch. I went for the 2-hour traditional Thai massage, while my husband chose a 1-hour foot massage followed by a 1-hour aroma oil massage. From the very first touch, I could tell my therapist was highly skilled and experienced. The pressure was perfect, and she instinctively worked on my tense areas without me even having to say a word. Every movement felt smooth and intentional, never rushed or mechanical. My husband also loved her session, especially the aroma oil massage, saying it was one of the most relaxing ones he’s ever had. Another thing I really appreciated was the thoughtfulness of the setup—soft lighting, relaxing music, and a comfortable temperature. No blasting air conditioning or unnecessary noise, just a peaceful, well-organized space that made the experience even better. By the time we walked out, we both felt completely rejuvenated. It’s not often you find a place that nails both the service and the overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to anyone looking for a high-quality massage in Bangkok. 5 stars, well deserved! Keep up the fantastic work!"

"I bought a voucher on Klook and booked a 90-minute foot massage (60 minutes for feet, 30 minutes for head, shoulders, and neck). I selected NUCH for the booking, but was directed to LEK, located just off Soi 24, next to a brothel. The masseuse was coughing the whole time, and I was worried about catching something. Furthermore, her fingernails? or calluses? were pressing against me, causing pain. She quickly finished the foot massage after 50 minutes, and then just roughly rubbed the surface of my hair during the head massage. I was thinking "What is this?" the whole time. She frequently used only one hand, clearly cutting corners, and was incredibly clumsy. She mercilessly placed her fingers on my eyeballs, massaged my neck tendons instead of muscles, and pressed on my upper arms, seemingly trying to press on arteries, which was just painful. Because it felt like torture, the 90 minutes felt like 3 hours, and my shoulders became even more stiff. It felt so long that my brain malfunctioned, and I accidentally gave her a completely worthless tip. If you end up with a Japanese-sounding therapist whose name starts with "M," just accept it. There are many other places that are cheaper and offer better service and skills. I used this place for the first time because the reviews were good and I wanted to find a new favorite, but I will never go back. The staff at the shop were polite and responded quickly and kindly to my requests for time changes and questions via LINE. I think I just got unlucky, but the shop I chose to end my trip ended up being stressful, and I returned home feeling disappointed."

"I've been here many times, and if I get a skilled masseuse, I leave feeling good, but the other day I got a terrible masseuse. He had no respect for the customer, and when I was lying face down, he kept his feet pressed against my chest, so I told him not to touch me. He also talked loudly to the staff next to him while massaging my neck, and I had to pay the fee while feeling incredibly stressed. When I left, I glared at him and said "Mae Sabai!" (Good morning!). When it came time to pay, other staff members usually offer a 10% discount as part of a promotion, but this time they repeatedly charged me the regular price. Again, I said clearly, "It's usually cheaper, so what's with this amount?" I was already annoyed with the terrible masseuse, so I told him I would never come to this shop again! At that point he finally gave me the discount and apologized, but he had no manners towards a customer who chose to come to his shop out of so many others. The curtains in the room I was shown to smelled musty, and the conversations between the staff during the treatment were so disruptive that I think there are others who, like me, have been offended and ended up paying for their services. First of all, they need to make sure they don't let in inappropriate staff, otherwise their reputation will suffer. I understand that they might have thought the same of me because there are many tourists, but I'm a resident and a frequent visitor, so it's disappointing."

"My husband and I had a wonderful four-day stay at Ariyasom villa to kick off our Thailand honeymoon. We chose it for its unique feel of a hidden oasis tucked away amidst the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, and that’s exactly what it felt like. We were amazed by how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, as if the trees above really can cut out the noise of the busy city surrounding it. The grounds are lovely and lush, with lots of birds singing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, with lovely views of the gardens and pool. The pool is super refreshing, and made for a great place to cool off and relax midday. The free breakfasts were yummy, and we especially appreciated the fresh fruit juice and strong, delicious coffee. The hotel’s location is very convenient for public transport, with the SkyTrain a short walk away (Phloen Chit station being closest). The hotel is right on a canal, which has a boat taxi, which is super cheap and fun to take! It isn’t a touristy mode of transport, so it might be helpful to ask the hotel staff for advice. We had a local friend taking us around who introduced us to the boat, but once we got the hang of it, it became our favorite mode of transportation. Finally, the hotel staff and owners are extremely friendly, always making you feel welcome and helping with anything you need. We will absolutely stay at AriyaSom Villa again when we return to Bangkok. Thank you for a fantastic experience! :)"

"The Forest Onsen in Thonglor is an absolute hidden gem! 🌿 From the moment you step in, the atmosphere feels calming, natural, and beautifully designed to transport you away from the city’s hustle. What stood out most to me was the unique signature scents they use — there are two different fragrances in the onsen, both incredibly relaxing and refreshing. The aromas add such a special touch, making the whole experience feel more immersive and luxurious. The facilities are clean, modern, and very well maintained, with a real focus on detail. Whether you’re there to unwind after a long day or treat yourself to some quiet me-time, this place truly delivers a sense of peace and rejuvenation. Highly recommend for anyone in Bangkok looking for a high-quality onsen experience with an extra touch of elegance and sensory delight. 🌸 * They also serve organic watermelon juice without ice and sugar."

"I encountered several issues at this massage establishment: 1. Policy on Accompaniment: Despite my clear request to have my partner accompany me during the massage for personal comfort, the policy at this facility disallows it. The response from the reception was less than accommodating, emphasizing pre-arrival requests. However, my attempts to reach them by phone beforehand were unsuccessful. 2. Booking Process: There seems to be a disconnect with their online booking system. I attempted to book through their website and awaited confirmation but received none. This led me to book in person at the shop. It’s puzzling why there’s a booking feature on the website if it’s not actively monitored or used. 3. Receptionist’s Attitude: The receptionist’s manner was quite off-putting. I believe a customer’s personal choices, especially regarding comfort during treatments, should be respected. Expressing the desire to have a partner in the room for support should be considered a fundamental aspect of patient consent and personal rights, especially in a setting that involves privacy and personal care. It’s important that such preferences are accommodated within professional standards and service delivery. I hope this feedback helps improve the service and policies for future patrons."

"I recently had the pleasure of discovering Mandarin Ginger Spa while searching for a nearby Thai massage on Google Maps. Accompanied by my wife, we were excited to embark on a rejuvenating experience together. Little did we know that our visit would be made even more memorable with a delightful ending - ginger tea. As we entered Mandarin Ginger Spa, we were immediately greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The serene ambiance and Thai-inspired decor set the perfect tone for relaxation and indulgence. It was evident that attention to detail was a priority, and we felt instantly at ease in this tranquil haven. Opting for the Thai massage, we embarked on a journey of revitalization. The skilled therapists expertly performed the traditional Thai techniques, utilizing a combination of acupressure, stretching, and rhythmic movements. The massage experience was both invigorating and deeply therapeutic, melting away any tension and leaving us feeling renewed and refreshed. What made our experience at Mandarin Ginger Spa truly remarkable was the thoughtful gesture at the end. After our massage, we were treated to fragrant and comforting ginger tea. Sipping on the warm beverage provided a soothing conclusion to our spa session, allowing us to prolong the relaxation and continue to savor the moment. Throughout our visit, the staff at Mandarin Ginger Spa demonstrated utmost professionalism and genuine hospitality. They attended to our needs with care, ensuring that every aspect of our experience was exceptional. The friendly and accommodating nature of the staff created an inviting environment that further enhanced our overall satisfaction. If you're seeking a Thai massage experience that goes above and beyond, I wholeheartedly recommend Mandarin Ginger Spa. Discovering them on Google Maps was a stroke of luck, as we were treated to an unforgettable journey of relaxation and rejuvenation. And, of course, don't miss the opportunity to end your visit with their delightful ginger tea. Treat yourself and your loved ones to this extraordinary spa retreat, and allow Mandarin Ginger Spa to whisk you away to a realm of pure bliss."

"Subject: Feedback Regarding My Recent Experience at Let's Relax Spa Dear Let's Relax Team, I would like to share my disappointing experience during my recent visit to your spa. Yesterday, my husband and I had a reservation for a 45-minute foot massage and a 30-minute neck, shoulder, and back massage at 10:00 AM. When we arrived, the staff asked us to soak our feet. However, the water provided was extremely hot—uncomfortably so. I believe the staff should check the water temperature before asking customers to soak their feet. Both my husband and I felt it was too hot and had to inform the staff, who then changed the water. This was the first issue that left me feeling disappointed with the service. Secondly, before the massage, my husband and I asked to use the restroom. When I went into the women's restroom, I found that there was no toilet paper. I came out and informed a staff member, and waited outside. The staff then handed me a roll of toilet paper. I believe it should not be the customer’s responsibility to place toilet paper in the restroom. The staff should have gone in to replace it properly and then informed me when it was ready. More importantly, since the spa had just opened at 10:00 AM, the facilities should have been fully prepared for guests. This is the second time my husband and I have visited Let's Relax, and unfortunately, we have had a disappointing experience on both occasions. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and improve your service standards to match the reputation your brand is known for. Sincerely, Natcha C."

"Overall the experience was ok. But At some point I did turn on my back and she did massage my belly but not put anything to cover my chest ( boobs) and then even started to massage them without asking.. I felt very uncomfortable at this point that someone just take my boobs and massage or watch them and ask me if that hurt because there is a tattoo … And if a massage therapist has a flu that she is keeping doing noise with her nose she should stay home, or clean the nose before the massage start … To advertise the oil massage they put Thai oil in front for 400 bath but if you want full oil massage it’s 500 so people that came in the same time as me and me were confused about why is it more expensive .. (had better for 300 bath)…"

"The service and environment are OK. But this time I suspect someone stole cash from my wallet during the service. When I was taking a shower after the service, the water suddenly became very small for no reason. The waiter said to change to another room to take a shower. I didn't take my clothes and wallet with me. After about 2 minutes in the other room, I suddenly remembered that my wallet was there, so I wanted to go back and get it. After I went back, the waiter also came over. She went to test the water again, and the water returned to normal, which was very strange. The next day after I went home, I found that there was a lot less cash in my wallet. This was the only time that my wallet left my body in the past few days, so I suspect it happened here. update: After communicating with the person in charge of this massage shop, she accurately found the suspicious masseuse because another customer also lost cash after being massaged by her. This masseuse has now left. I asked to see the surveillance video at the door of the monitoring room, but the person in charge said there was no video. Obviously this masseuse is very suspicious, and even has other accomplices. Otherwise, how could the shower faucet break just at the end of the massage, and then return to normal within a few minutes? Changing rooms is very abnormal. In a short period of time, at least two customers, including me, lost cash when served by the same masseuse. This is already obvious. I hope that massage shops can strengthen the control of this kind of criminal behavior! Everyone should try not to bring cash when going for a massage, and don't let your wallet out of sight. Danger is everywhere in Bangkok."

"Recently went to LeLe studio and had high expectations due to seeing the posts on social media, but after experiencing it for myself, I wouldn’t visit a second time. Don’t get me wrong, the massage and the hair spa was comfortable. The place was clean. But it was hot and stuffy and room looked totally different from the videos on IG. Perhaps they used a special room for those IG sponsored clients. I paid almost 4000 baht for a 2 hours deep sleep spa that included facial massage, which to my horror, my makeup was completely removed. I guess it was communication error, or just a lack of experience thinking that facial massage can be done without makeup being removed. The lady who did the treatments for me did a great job, she was good at the shoulder massage and I fell asleep during the head spa too. At the end, she even helped to blow dry my hair, and lent me her eyebrow pencil. Staff at reception were completely unhelpful. Overall, I realised you can get much better service and ambience at this price so yea, do shop around. Update- Realised I cannot comment on the reply from LeLe studio. Shocked that they said they tried to look for the cosmetic item I requested for, because both the two receptionists replied immediately “Sorry we don’t have”. It was the therapist who despite not being able to speak much English, lend her personal item to me. It is definitely okay if you cannot accede to every customer’s request. But please DO NOT lie about trying to look for it. Now this is another reason to drop a star for this studio. Unbelievable. Please read all other reviews for this studio, there were other poor reviews about the service of the receptionists."

"Looking for amazing treatment in the heart of Bangkok? Look no further! From the time I began the booking process til the very moment I left I knew I was in good hands… literally! They messaged me to confirm my appointment within 30 minutes of submitting my request online and had me booked an hour later for the Mahanakhon Package for 120 minutes! Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm smile and felt instantly comfortable while enjoying the provided refreshments. I then got to meet my massage therapists Ja and Saran who were light hearted and fun which brought even more comfort. They work in tandem while providing consistent pressure and movements between the two of them. It felt like one person with four hands which I thought stood out as unique solely to Loft Thai. If you’re looking for a one of a kind experience with true professionals then this is the spot for you!"

"I'm also a beauty and aromatherapist 😊 We went to the salon around 10 PM yesterday, without checking reviews! My feet were really uncomfortable, and I was hoping to get some relief... The receptionist explained the texture of the exfoliating scrubs... and the product range in great detail ❤️ She also recommended an exfoliating scrub suitable for my skin type ❤️ Since I had surgery on my legs 17 days ago, I consulted with the manager beforehand. She arranged a 60-minute full-body exfoliation and body mask session + a 60-minute aromatherapy massage. The room had a shower. The procedure started with a full-body exfoliation; I forget which therapist did it? The technique was very smooth and gentle... We are tourists from Taiwan! I experienced a completely different massage technique from a different country... a slow, gentle, and silky technique... After the exfoliation, I was freezing, even though the room wasn't air-conditioned... but I was so cold my teeth were chattering... I was so happy that hot water came out quickly in the bathroom ❤️ I thought, "Wow, the hot water came out so fast!" 😳 But it was lukewarm water, rather cold... 😭😭😭 I had to quickly rinse it off and wrap myself in a towel, shivering... Thankfully, the masseuse immediately gave me a cup of ginger tea to warm me up... I was really shivering uncontrollably... Although the average temperature in Thailand is warm, The hot water temperature needs to be high enough for this class, otherwise the guests will really get cold 😭 Thankfully, after I lay down, the instructor kept me warm by wrapping me in a blanket 🥰 The instructor's technique was quite gentle after the massage started. I specifically consulted with her about this because I had just had surgery… Overall, it was very smooth, without any breaks, fantastic 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I personally prefer a medium-to-high pressure massage, so this was my first experience with a gentle, soothing, and therapeutic class 💕 Thank you for giving us such a great experience 👍🏼"

"Sorry, but we didn’t like it at all. We travel to Asia often, so we have something to compare it with. At this salon, we chose a spa package with a Thai deep tissue massage and hair washing. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel either a Thai massage or any real deep tissue work. Many areas were not worked on at all. Some areas were done too lightly, others too strongly. I even ended up with a bruise. My daughter’s hair looked better before the salon than after the wash, and it wasn’t even fully dried. We carefully chose this salon based on reviews, but it turned out to be no better than an ordinary beach salon. Even in Phu Quoc, my daughter had her hair washed and dried better than here. As soon as we left the salon, she burst into tears and went back to the hotel to wash her hair again. Overall, we do not recommend either the massage or the head spa at this salon. Very disappointing."

"Yesterday, my wife and I visited the shop around 7:40 PM. The receptionist took our medical history, pointing out areas to be cautious of, areas we wanted emphasized, the pressure to use during the massage, and any health concerns we had, for safety reasons. I opted for a King massage (strong pressure), and my wife for a Queen massage (normal pressure). The receptionist was very lovely, friendly, and provided excellent service and recommendations. The therapist who served me was small in stature, polite, and friendly. She was very good, knowing exactly where I was sore and where to apply the right pressure. Overall, I was very satisfied with her. As for my wife's massage, I don't remember the therapist's name. After our session, I discussed with my wife that the service could be improved. The pressure was too light; it felt more like a light touch than a massage. When my wife asked for more pressure, the therapist said that if she wanted it stronger, she would have to use her elbow. My wife just let it go and continued with the massage as it was. Overall, it wasn't as good as we expected, which was a little disappointing. In summary, the shop was clean, had complete facilities, and the scheduling system was excellent. The reception staff were lovely and polite. I wish the salon could maintain a consistent standard of service from all the therapists. The prices were quite high, even though I used a buy-one-get-one-free promotion."

"My partner and I were staying close by to URI massage spa. On our last day in Thailand we decided to pop in as the beautiful decor kept calling to us. The serine naturalistic design matches the atmosphere, we both got 1 hour foot massages and left wishing it went longer. It was soooo relaxing we forgot the busy street existed beyond the door. The woman who served us were Toom and Raat who were both friendly, kind and very skilled in their work. It was finished with some hot stone on the shoulders which was a nice surprise and very affordable for the luxury atmosphere compared to other clinics we had been to. Thank you staff at URI! We will be back next time."

"I actually had a massage appointment at another place nearby that day, but I couldn't cancel at the last minute, so I had to look for a place nearby and unexpectedly found this one next to the Emsphere shopping center. From the outside, the shop is very unassuming, even resembling a small shop selling fragrances or herbal products. If you weren't specifically looking for a massage place, you might just walk right in. Upon entering, they offer a welcome tea to help you relax. Then, you're asked to fill out a massage plan and indicate which areas you'd like to focus on using an iPad. There's an English interface, which is quite friendly to foreign tourists. The whole process is quite efficient. After filling out the form, you change into slippers, and the staff will take you upstairs to the massage area via elevator. I was assigned a double room this time. The space was quite spacious, and the lighting and artwork in the room created a very comfortable atmosphere, unlike the overly bright or cramped feeling of typical massage parlors. They also offer herbal tea before the massage, which has a mild and pleasant flavor. The massage bed was clean, and the towels were neatly arranged, making the overall environment quite relaxing. The massage itself is a combination of Thai and relaxation techniques, and the pressure can be adjusted beforehand. I specifically noted on the iPad that I needed more attention in my shoulders and neck, and the masseuse noticed, massaging my shoulders and back several times during the session with consistent pressure. Overall, my body felt stretched and relaxed after the massage. The price is actually quite reasonable for a location in downtown Bangkok near the Emsphere, more affordable than many tourist massage parlors. Showering and hair dryer rentals are available afterward, which is quite convenient for someone who's been shopping all day. Overall, it's a low-key but enjoyable massage parlor. If I happen to be shopping nearby and want to relax, I would definitely go back."

"The staff were very attentive and gave helpful instructions throughout the process. I highly recommend coming here, especially for first-time soaking in a hot spring. They teach breathing exercises and different soaking techniques. The atmosphere is great, and there are many beautiful photo opportunities. Overall, it was excellent and more impressive than other places I've been to."

"TLDR: excellent value for money, friendly professional service, traditional Thai massage varies from strong/hard, to medium strength, to gentler to cater to preferences Full review: ended up returning for the full body traditional Thai massage 3 times with different family members. First time was the 60 minute massage, then 2 days later the 90 minute massage, and on the last day before a flight, we snuck in a quick 45 minute massage before running for our flights. The traditional Thai massage starts with them washing your feet before they leave you in privacy to get changed into the top and pants provided for the massage. Each family member had different preferences regarding massage strength and they were all catered to. I also found that they were so attentive, they adjusted to any areas to increase or decrease strength depending on back or hip pain without needing to say anything The place is clean, cool and has gentle background music. You are also provided with cold water bottles, hot tea, some sliced fruit, and a sweet snack after your massage. The snack varied on each day I was there. The entrance may seem daunting with all those stairs but there's a lift just out of sight. It's literally under the stairs, just behind them and you can see the elevator shaft coming up through the stairs at the top."

"Unfortunately, this massage did not meet basic professional or safety expectations. This was a four-hand Thai massage (two therapists working at the same time). I did not note the therapists’ names. One of the therapists applied mostly static pressure rather than actual muscle work. There was no clear attempt to assess muscle condition or locate tense/problematic areas. The technique felt mechanical and lacked engagement or anatomical awareness. When I was turned face down, the pillow was not removed, despite the table having a face opening. As a result, my head remained turned to the side while pressure continued to be applied, which caused significant discomfort and strain in the neck area. During the arm work, the technique involved excessive stretching of the skin rather than the muscles. After the session, there was noticeable irritation and burning sensation in these areas, and the skin felt clearly abraded. There were also moments when elbow pressure was applied directly over the spine, which caused discomfort and concern. Additionally, the therapists repeatedly bent my toes forcefully, apparently expecting a cracking sound. My toes do not crack, but the bending continued, causing pain and the feeling that too much force was being used. After the session, I had to clean the irritated areas with antiseptics and apply soothing ointments, as the skin irritation and discomfort persisted. This is not something I have experienced after professional massage sessions before. Overall, the experience felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and below professional standards. Based on this visit, I would not recommend this massage. Didn’t expect that level of service from famous network :("

"This review is for the 8 Elements Cafe that is part of the spa. The cafe was added about 5 months ago? It is a great little place to relax and enjoy a drink and a snack. I have stopped in a number of times to get some coffee and try one of the bakery items in the case. Last visit was some banana bread and a mango melt muffin for take away. All was delicious. Also, there are some beautiful photos on exhibit in the cafe as you can see from the pics I have posted here. Full disclosure, I am one of the three photographers with work on display in the cafe. I think the cafe is worth a visit and may be seen by some that it and the spa are together."

"I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage last Sunday, and it was amazing! It hit every sore spot, focusing deeply and with perfect pressure, especially on my neck, shoulders, lower back, and shoulder blades. I specifically asked the masseuse to emphasize these areas, and she did it exactly as I wanted. Even though she didn't use her elbows (because I'm small), her hands and fingers were incredibly strong. Days after the massage, I have no bruises or swelling. Most other massages I've had leave marks. I usually don't ask the masseuse's name, but here I couldn't resist – she was "Masseuse Nan." It was a truly effective deep tissue massage; she focused on the right points and pressure points, not just a strong massage. I will definitely go back. The shop is clean, cute, and comfortable. The receptionist was lovely and spoke politely. My only minor complaint is that she wasn't very experienced with the billing process; she had trouble processing my card payment several times. Overall, I was very happy with the massage."

"Two days ago I came here for a foot massage and it was excellent. I was very satisfied and even received a coupon, which is why I decided to return today and try the 1-hour aroma oil massage. Unfortunately, this experience was completely different and extremely disappointing. The therapist did not seem to understand basic massage technique. Instead of applying proper pressure or working on muscles, she simply spread oil over my body with her palms. There was no real massage, no kneading, no tension release — just oil being rubbed superficially on the skin. After a full hour, I left feeling uncomfortable rather than relaxed. My entire body was covered in excessive oil that was not properly wiped off. It even transferred onto my clothes. I had to rush home to shower immediately. Worse, the heavy oil caused skin irritation and small breakouts on my arms. It honestly felt like I was just being coated in olive oil rather than receiving a professional treatment. Money is not the issue. What disappointed me most was wasting an entire hour without any relaxation or benefit. I almost wanted to leave halfway through because I felt nothing was being done properly. If this place is not experienced in providing aroma oil massage, it would be better not to offer it at all. The quality difference between my previous foot massage and today’s aroma massage was shocking. I hope management seriously reviews therapist training and service consistency."

"One of my favorite spas in Bangkok! I have visited this spa many times but never had the chance to leave a review until now. Before I leave Thailand, I would love to recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, private, and relaxing spa experience where your personal belongings are kept safe and secure. The reception staff are always polite, kind, and professional, making every visit pleasant from the moment you walk in. The therapists are highly skilled, experienced, and truly know how to help you relax and unwind. I highly recommend their 3-hour special promotion package. You can customize your treatment according to your preferences, whether it’s a body scrub, aroma oil massage, or finishing with a relaxing facial massage. It is a wonderful package that leaves you feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. Thank you for making every visit such a relaxing and memorable experience! See you again next visited"

"The first impression was great. I was welcomed with a complimentary drink, followed by a foot wash with salt stones, which set a positive tone for the experience. Unfortunately, the massage itself was one of the worst massage experiences I have ever had. My therapist (No. 90) applied such light pressure throughout the session that I could barely feel anything. I politely asked her to increase the pressure on two separate occasions. While she pressed slightly harder for a brief moment, she quickly reverted back to the same extremely light pressure. For a premium-priced massage at 950 THB for 90 minutes, plus an additional 3% surcharge for card payments, I expected a significantly better experience. The treatment felt incomplete and lacked technique. My back was only worked on briefly, while my head and hands were not attended to at all. Instead, most of the session seemed focused on repeatedly massaging my calves and thighs and even then, the pressure and quality were far below expectations. I found myself constantly checking the time and waiting for the session to end. I left feeling neither relaxed nor refreshed. In fact, I was more frustrated when I walked out than when I walked in. While the welcome service and ambience were pleasant, the massage itself did not come close to justifying the price. Unfortunately, this experience completely ruined my mood for the day and I would not return or recommend it based on the quality of the massage I received. Update: The co-founder, Dennis, personally reached out after reading my review. He acknowledged the issues without making excuses, apologised and offered either a refund or a complimentary session with a senior therapist. While I wasn’t able to take up the offer as I’m leaving Bangkok, I appreciate the professionalism and accountability shown in handling the feedback."

"An incredible massage experience! The therapists here are absolute experts—they really know how to hit all the right pressure points and release all the muscle tension perfectly. I felt so much lighter and completely relaxed afterward. The service is exceptional; everyone from the reception to the therapists is polite, welcoming, and highly attentive. The shop is also very clean and has a lovely, comfortable atmosphere. 💡 Highly Recommend: You must book in advance! It’s a very popular spot, so waking in might result in a long wait or missing out entirely. Booking ahead ensures a seamless experience. Will definitely come back again!"

"Editing my review because they took the time to search for me on ig to invite me to experience the Qlub again. We were hesitant initially because we really didn't want to experience the bad service and crowd but they were so sincere and we decided to give it another try. The gym and equipments are clean and pleasant to use. Definitely a place you can train for hyrox as they have ski, row, sled etc. The onsen and sauna is clean and comfortable too. We were discussing about buying the monthly package but reminded ourselves that we already signed up for a gym. We will however come back again to train and have our recovery session here. This is me eating my words. I'll come back again Thank you for the incredible service Qlub team! Special shoutout to Aaron for reaching out and Kate for personally coming to talk to us. Leaving the prior review at the bottom to show everyone that I am not a robot or fake review giving high ratings. I amended my rating after the 2nd experince. Bought the day pass on gowabi. My husband and I used the gym then the sauna. The person in charge of the onsen told my husband that there's a private session at a certain time but we were using the public onsen so we thought it didn't matter. Apparently, what it means is that they'll kick everyone out of the public onsen if someone books a private session. This was not explained clearly. My husband was mid showering, literally shampoo in hair when the staff told him he needs to leave immediately because the private session was starting. He wasn't even given time to towel dry properly. Had to put on his clothes totally wet. We didn't enjoy the tea time because he had to go home to continue showering. The pool was filled with screaming kids the day we were there so we didn't get to use it either. So can't comment on that. It's a pity because we stay in phrom phong and thought we found a gym+onsen place we could go regularly. After this unpleasant incident, never again."

"The worst foot massage I’ve had in Bangkok. This is not a reliable place for massages — the quality is very hit-and-miss. The menu tries to offer too many different services, which seems to dilute their expertise. Unfortunately, my foot massage was disappointing and far below the usual standard in Bangkok."

"Bad experience. After body massage on 1st Feb night at, Araya 2 branch, we discovered money was lost from wallet. We went back twice to the branch to inform manager on 2nd Feb. Abt 12pm we went to branch, but manager not in. Then abt 3pm, we went back to the branch, spoke to the manager and informed him. The lady masseur denied taking the money. So, the money notes in 1000 and 500 notes (totalling abt 10k) in my partner's wallet just walked away during the massage? Araya founder - please investigate properly first before threatening your customers. Is this how you treat customers who write the truth about what happened to them in your branch premise? Don't you think you should investigate first on your staff properly? Don't you provide any lockers for customers to keep their valuables? You could have one dishonest masseur who is quietly stealing money from unwary customers and if we do not tell our experience, she may continue to steal quietly. Please checked with your manager of Araya 2 as we spoke to him. There were other staff around with your manager at that time. This lady masseur obviously denied taking the money although during the body massage, I noticed she abruptly left the massage bed for a short while when my partner was asleep. There was a curtain separating the two of us. I was very tempted to report this theft matter to the police after meeting your manager but my partner stopped me because we were in a hurry. So, if you are lodging a police report against LSO, I will proceed to lodge a police report against Araya too. Responding to Araya Massage (owner)'s reply: Dear owner, Your response is deeply disappointing and reflects a failure to treat customers with fairness, professionalism and basic respect. We did not make “idle threats” nor post a “scam” review. We shared our genuine experience of what occurred inside your massage premise on the night of 1 February at the Araya 2 branch (sometime between 10pm to midnight). To clarify the facts: 1. Some money was stolen during the 2-hour massage while the customer was sleeping. During the massage, the masseur left the room briefly for a few minutes. 2. The loss of money was only discovered after we had left the massage premise, by which time, the branch had already closed for the night. After leaving your branch, we returned directly to our residence and did not go anywhere else. For this reason, we are confident that the loss of money occurred during the massage session. 3. The next day, we returned to your branch twice on 2 February to report the incident — first around 12:00 pm when the manager was not present, and again around 3:00 pm, when we spoke to the manager directly in the presence of other staff. We are not claiming to have video evidence. However, you also do not have evidence that the money was not taken during the massage. Instead of investigating the situation fairly, your response: • Assumes your staff member is “completely trustworthy” without objective inquiry • Dismisses the customer’s experience • Threatens legal action rather than seeking the truth This is not how a responsible business should handle a serious complaint. You also did not address an important issue: Why are there no lockers or secure storage for customer valuables? Your business model exposes customers to unnecessary risk. We stand by our account. We are not accusing your entire company — we are reporting what happened to us at your Araya 2 branch. If even one staff member is dishonest, silence only allows it to continue. We expect this matter to be handled fairly, professionally, and without intimidation."

"Nothing to complain unfortunately about the massage, very good and professional not super smiley and no interaction with no problem I came for a massage . But Very very bad customer service , one girl at the reception was super rude and not friendly at all, almost like a robot ,in the country of smile not ones from the beginning to the end, Service was really poor not professional with customers. She told me : Name /time of massage /soft medium strong / seat down. And the same when I paid never look me in the eyes counting the cash. I thought I was in the line of a supermarket without any kindness. So it made a really disappointing experience, that's a pitty because I came 5 years ago and it was the best experience massage I made in Bkk. I went out disturbed by this behaviour that why I put one star and I don't recommend....."

"It was the same system I experienced in Vietnam. I went without a reservation, but I explained that I needed to get a massage and head straight to the airport. They responded kindly, and I didn't have to wait long to receive the service quickly. Since the staff member was thin and petite, I thought they might not have much strength, but their hand pressure was excellent. Overall, I received a refreshing and comfortable massage, and I am very satisfied. It was truly a place that provided excellent service. I found out about this place quite late—I discovered it on the day I was returning to Korea—but if I come back, I definitely plan to visit again."
